We have been ordering takeout from here for a long time. It’s my go-to. Today I ordered delivery. On one of my entrees I left a request that read, “Can you make it spicy? We love your food!” And this note was in our order. The food was amazing as always! Now I have to go meet the person who makes this food and wrote this note!

Just had the worst experience here! I ordered Sweet Asian pork and all I got was FAT! We waited 30 minutes dine in which we didn’t care because we expected the Kapoon to be at least fresh. $60 for 3 drinks and 3 bowls of trash food! Scam $60 is overprice for small portions that aren’t unedible it took us 1 bite for us to not like it! This is how we left the food!

Its an order first and sit down place. We got the boat noodles. To me it taste pretty generic hmong boat noodles. Its more pho type than blood. Also got the laab shrimp and wings. These are pretty good if you’re into eating the shell of the shrimp. The wings is just a can’t go wrong with it, add laab seasoning to anything and it taste good.

The pork belly and sticky rice was okay, pretty bland. Sticky rice was soft and chewy. The beef chow fun had different noodles than the picture the owners put up. It was also bland, no flavors at all. There was only like 3 or 4 pieces of meat in there and the meat smelled like it was sitting out for a while. The papaya salad was super good. Probably the only good thing from that restaurant that we ordered.

Saw this gem driving and decided to turn around and try it and I am glad we did!
These folks really know about their cream cheese wontons. These are not the square folded ones with the cheese at the bottom, these are the hearty triangle ones.
Everything was fresh and the Pad Thai was delicious.
My partner got his with shrimp and said it was very tasty.
They also have bubble teas but we didn’t try them on this visit

Food is good. Pork belly is good. Steam rolls were beautiful rolled, but lack any meat. Felt like I was chewing straight dough. I get it.. Gotta budget cost, and inflation, ect.. ect. Will have to try their pho next time. Would have easily given 5 stars had there been more meat in the steam rolls. Come on guys.. easy fix

Order some to go, Chicken kaopia, cucumber salad, and pork belly larb. Everything was good but the pork belly larb was super chewy, and who ever (young girl) chopped it, was horrible. Not bite size and it was almost intimidating to eat. I had to re cut everything and add my own seasoning ……again, super chewy and rubbery.
Kids running. around everywhere too….
Was told new ownership again…… food is not as good anymore. Previous owner had the most crispy pork belly!!!
Goodbye

Update 3/15/24
New owners now… Pros: the food is a lot fresher. I prefer the new stuffed chicken wings. Cons: I thought the wings and egg rolls were slightly bland. Would try again.
Update 4/6/23
Food is inconsistent and a lot of it isn’t fresh. Came around 5 pm and egg rolls were old and cold. They need to replace old food more regularly if they want returning customers. 75 cents for pepper sauce that is pretty much emptied is outrageous.
Pork belly had a nice crisp on its skin and was well seasoned. Egg rolls were tasty too but didn’t care for the peanut sauce. The star was the pepper sauce that came with the pork—very flavorful and spicy with fresh herbs—just wish it was filled at least at the halfway mark rather than 1/4 of the cup. Service was very friendly with reasonable prices. Recommend with you like Asian comfort food.

Pork belly is just chewy as ever. If you’re expecting crispy and crunchy pork belly don’t come here. Was so undercooked I had to get my money refunded

Went to eat here with a few and this will be the last time! I ordered the sweet pork and I got 3 pork feet and two eggs. No meat! If that wasn’t bad enough… the pig feet had so much hair left on it still. My buddy ordered the pork belly and that was also disgusting. There was hair on every piece of pork belly!! No glavor at all. The stuffed chi ken wimg was bland and had zero flavor… Just look at the pictures. They speak for themselves.. do better my Hmong brothers and sisters… This is not the way to serve hmong food.
