My husband planned a surprise 40th birthday party for me this weekend, and after our original baker had to cancel due to an unfortunate recurrence of her cancer, he suddenly found himself without a cake and very little time. In a moment of desperation, he turned to you—and we are so grateful that he did.
The cake was light, delicious, and absolutely beautiful. He ordered a chocolate cake with crushed Reese’s cups and whipped icing, and it exceeded every expectation. Thank you so much for not only saving the party, but for making my cake truly special.
You’ve gained loyal customers in us, and based on the number of compliments we received, you’ll have plenty of new customers coming your way as well!

The employee really weren’t aware of prices of the pastries and other items. Not very friendly ( at least the day I was there) I like it when it was on the smaller scale . You definitely need to dog deep in your pockets cause it’s not inexpensive at all. Very high for pastries and other foods. I was very surprised if the cost of the items.

I have been very busy and rushed. And depressed. And my holiday season has been ruined by very bad experiences with retail and other businesses. I stopped in after a dreadful morning to pick up an order for my work Christmas party. There was an error and once again, I was crestfallen. I mean, I can’t win. I was literally ready to melt in a puddle of my own tears and misery. The staff fixed the problem and went above and beyond to make it right. They were totally amazing and everything was perfect! Now I can cry a puddle happy tears. Highly recommend. They have always had high quality and great staff. The move has given them a great retail space and the experience is seamless.

Tried the apple pie from Liscio’s.
If you’ve ever eaten apple pie and thought, “This needs the texture of pumpkin pie”, congrats. This one is basically that. I was expecting actual apple pieces and some bite. Instead it’s this smooth-ish, uniform mush.
Flavor is the real issue here. It’s bland. And I don’t mean “subtle”. I mean “did anyone season this or did we just think about seasoning it”. I cannot taste even a hint of cinnamon. Not a sprinkle, not a warm note, not even the ghost of a cinnamon stick. Pretty sure a frozen apple pie from the grocery store has more flavor and that’s saying something.
The mushy apples that were there taste cheap too. Like the absolute budget apples were used. The kind you buy when your goal is “technically fruit” and nothing else.
The crust is also… present. It’s not bad, it’s not good. It’s just there, holding the filling in place.
If you’re at Liscio’s, I’d stick to literally anything else. This pie is a 2/10 for me.

This new bakery building is very clean and spacious, but also very pricey and the cake is just not as good as it used to be. The pizza smelled delicious, I may go back and try a slice of pizza in the near future but no more cakes from liscio’s.

Amazing bakery with a lot of great stuff!! Tomate sauces, italian spices and all the bread you can imagine. They also sell fresh slices of pizza, pastries and cakes. You can find carts ot baskets so you can shop everything that you want. Definitely is the best place in the area so you can have an italian bite!!

HEY, Liscio’s Bakery in Glassboro … I think your workers need to be “coached” in customer service … picture it, a customer enters the store, gets what they need, heads to the bread counter, where two customers in front of them are getting a good amount of rolls, but all this customer needs is a loaf of bread … there are three, not JUST the one worker waiting on the customers getting the rolls, and this one customer is waiting a good 5-10 minutes … in walks two “new” customers, obviously “friends” to a worker, because this worker comes to the SAME BREAD COUNTER with these two new customers and waits on them, meanwhile, the “original customer” is STILL WAITING … about 5 minutes go by and FINALLY, one of the THREE people “floating around” asks if they can help the customer … again, it’s great to have the workers, but if they don’t know how to properly and appropriately wait on customers, it’s time to “coach them” … with that many workers just “walking around” behind the counter, there is NO NEED for ANY customer to wait so long for service … if that’s how your workers are going to be, it might be a while before I re-enter this location … that was ridiculous, it wasn’t even overly busy in the store … how would YOU feel being that customer who was patiently waiting, see “new” customers being taken care of at the SAME counter you have been waiting, and then FINALLY being asked for help? … I am sure you wouldn’t be happy … as I said, there weren’t even a LOT of customers in the store

Food to order by the deli(kiosk) needs to be worked on(taste quality/bad recipes or vendors for meat/tenders). Food to go in the stand is good the basil pasta salads, pasta dishes macaroni salad are great. Love the basil tomatoe pasta salad. The chicken salad could use a little more texture (celery onions etc) everything that comes from the bakery fresh is phenomenal

We read many reviews that spoke only of the service but not of the food. So let me start by saying the service was great. Several people offered to help us while my kid was taking a while to decide what pastry she wanted. They were all friendly and warm and all said something like “ok well when you’re ready just let me know I’ll be right here”. We ordered our hoagies through the kiosk but I (flustered by a long road trip to visit nearby Rowan University for their open house for my oldest to explore) made a few mistakes when ordering. The gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and was happy to help me add the things I forgot to add to our hoagies so they would be right (we got a giant hoagie and they were happy to cut it into smaller hoagies for us to share) plus my husband got his own separate hoagie. We came because we are from Philly and love Liscio’s rolls for our cheesesteaks so we felt we had to no choice but to come to a whole liscio’s bakery and deli. The sandwiches were delicious and the bread was so soft and fresh. The only reason I gave the food a 4 was because even though it was great, I would have liked to see more variety of lunch meats like Boar’s Head offers, I’m partial to honey maple Turkey which wasn’t offered but the Thumann’s was still tasty and fresh. If my son chooses to attend Rowan for college they won’t be able to keep me out of here. Oh and my daughter ended up saying that her brownie that she was skeptical about because it had frosting and sprinkles on it was actually amazing.
