A small nowhere southern town isn’t known normally for anything but gas station pizza, but Village pizza on the square of Blakely breaks that mold.

Spacious seating great you as soon as you walk in. A large menu of sandwiches, pizzas, wings and more are at your fingertips.

The wings are what you remember a wing being. As much meat as a chicken leg, delicious, and juicy.

Is the pizza the best? No.. but for it’s area it’s a knockout.

If you find yourself in Blakely give them a try.

Be sure to call ahead as with any locally owned business hours may vary from online postings.

We stopped in last year, had an excellent meal. Came back camping this year and we were upset because we came by her on Wednesday and they were closed and stopped again today and it’s just as good.
Husband ordered turkey and cheese, lettuce and tomato and fries. I got the chicken pastel with lettuce and tomato onion and I’m telling you you’ve just got to stop. This meal is excellent!
You order at the counter, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
They bring your meal out to you.

I’ve had pizza across the U. S. and Italy. The crust is thin but with a little thickness. The edge crust is minimal, as the ingredients go almost to the edge. The Village Special pizza ingredients were fresh, well distributed, and present with each bite. We had local beer and were served a chilled glass! I ate half before I took the picture, it was that good.

Absolutely Worth the Drive – A Pizza Experience Like No Other!

I drove an hour and 45 minutes just to try Village Pizza, and let me tell you—it was so worth every mile. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed like family. The hospitality here is something special—genuine, warm, and full of Southern charm. I had the pleasure of meeting Julie, the owner, along with the incredible team behind the scenes where the magic of pizza-making happens.

I started with their chef salad, which was piled high with the freshest veggies and paired perfectly with their homemade ranch dressing. Alongside it, I had the “piggy sticks”—breadsticks loaded with bacon, pepperoni, and gooey cheese. They were a mouthwatering prelude to what came next.

For pizza, we tried the Gourmet White—an olive oil and garlic base topped with mushrooms, feta, and a drizzle of pesto. Delicious. But The Yoko stole my heart. It had an oil and garlic base with chicken, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, and jalapeños, all topped with a teriyaki swirl and sesame seeds. A perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory—my new favorite!

The restaurant itself is charming, nestled in the heart of Blakely, Georgia. Everyone who walked in wore a smile and left with a full, happy belly.

If you’re a true pizza lover like me, and you’re not afraid of a little road trip for a great meal—do yourself a favor and visit Village Pizza. It’s more than just great food—it’s pizza made with heart and soul.

We were traveling through town and decided to give The Village Pizza a try. The employees working were all friendly and chatted with us while we waited. The Wowi Maui was outstanding! Great combination of flavors! My son got the BBQ wings with fries. He enjoyed them very much. Between the friendly service and delicious food, we will make it a point to stop every time. Plus we need to try the piggy sticks. Glad we gave it a try on our road trip!

Very delicious pizza. Thin, soft (not soggy), crust, not too cheesy, lots of fresh topping. I had the Mega Veggie and loved it. The small size, 9-inch, is perfect for one. They serve beer with frosty glasses, which is top of the line in my book. And if you order a second beer, you get a second frosty glass! If you don’t want pizza, they have a great selection of sandwiches and lots of salads. There are about 12 dine in tables and they do a huge take out business. Very friendly service.
