Convenient place serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good choice while hitting hatfield mccoy trails in the area. Gals working were friendly.

We arrived at 11am today 7/12/25 ! 11am the waiter was absolutely horrible, the attitude is what makes a Place, she made us feel she didn’t want us there, horrible horrible attitude!!! We had a party of 16 we walked out !! We ride 4 times a year in this area and would not recommend this place !

We stopped for lunch while running the Hatfield and McCoy trails. The food was very good. Very friendly staff and local customers willing to talk and add good memories to our adventure. Not a fancy restaurant, clean with good food.

We have been coming here for years every time we come to ride the rock house. They have tons of parking and it’s perfect for trailers cause you can pull all the way around! The ladies here are amazing! We always go in for breakfast and I think the world of this place! They always treat us like family and it’s the little mom and pop places we love! Food is always fresh and quick! I love to talk to the locals and the vibe is always so chill. I can’t speak for anything but breakfast because we never make it back for lunch on the trails but I eat there every morning of our trip and it’s something I look forward to every time! We come all the way from Broadway NC and it’s a long trip but so worth it! We have met some amazing people in this town! Can’t wait to come back!

Very good food! Home cooked, an order at the time, so be patient. Small convenience store too. The staff is really nice. Good place to stop.

It was hot and real smokey inside so we asked to turn on AC but we’re told no. So we ordered anyway and our food had plenty of mashed potatoes and green beans and a small piece of ham. Shift changed happened and the cook now felt bad about our plates and brought us a piece of ham to make up for the other cook. And they turned on the AC system.

I got a cheeseburger on toast and it was the best burger I’ve had in many years! Everything about it was so good. Great job ladies, that do the cooking there. Fries were good also it looked like they had seasoned salt on em and they were well cooked also not to much nor to little but just right.

Absolutely Awesome food! Every time I visit relatives in the area I eat here and it never disappoints! This is true all American diner food! I love the biscuits and gravy, the slaw dogs and the hamburgers! If you want an honest to God diner meal the way it used to be- the way it should be- this is the place to go! And the staff are awesome and super friendly!

Had breakfast here every morning before hitting the trails. Wonderful staff made us feel like locals. They always welcomed us with smiles and great conversation. Try the fried chicken on the homemade biscuits, you won’t be disappointed. So good, we ordered a half dozen to take home with us on the last day.
