I don’t always leave reviews, even when the food is good, but this place truly deserved one. I came here because I love seafood and wanted to try something new, and it exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Javier, was beyond helpful, friendly, and attentive—he made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I left already planning my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great seafood!

This was the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve been to in awhile. Food was real good portions were nice and the atmosphere was good. The only thing that was sad was that I ordered sweet tea and we were given bottled tea with no refills. But over all it was really good.

1 Dozen Ostiones El Malecon were Delicious. I decided to take the remaining items I ordered and go watch football at home. I anticipated enjoying the jalapeno poppers, Guacamole seafood, and the Tacos Pesado. Upon arriving home I found each item was totally destroyed because of improper packaging. Sauces didn’t have lids on them, and the containers used for each food item were twice the size needed (half pan trays were used). I had to trash the food because it was inedible.

A delicious and fun place that creatively blurs the line between ceviche and sashimi. It’s not “cheap”, but it’s very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Bring a group and order some of the larger shareables. They have some interesting drink options that aren’t listed on the menu, so talk to your server or bartender.

BEST MEXICAN (Seafood) MARISCOS IN NOVA! Los mejores Mariscos en Northern Virginia. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend the tamarind margaritas, churros and tres leches cake for dessert.
I live the lively atmosphere and the amazing service, the owner and employees are very welcoming and friendly. Get there early on the weekends, it gets very busy and waiting time can be long during weekends and holidays but totally worth the wait! I highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently dined at Mariscos El Malecon and had a fantastic experience, largely due to the exceptional service provided by our server, Javier.
From the moment we walked in, Javier made us feel welcome with a warm greeting and a friendly smile. He had a good knowledge of the menu. When we were unsure about what to order, he took the time to explain the ingredients and even gave us some recommendations.
The timing of the service was also impeccable. Our drinks arrived promptly, and we never felt rushed or neglected. Our server checked in at just the right moments, ensuring we had everything we needed.
Food was really good and overall, the service provided contributed significantly to our positive dining experience. I highly recommend “La Piña Culichi” that’s one of the best options, also keep in mind that is plate to share, it is big enough for 3 people, my girl and I ordered it and even had to take it home.
