I rarely eat fast food. Tonight, my boyfriend wanted to go to Herfy’s for dinner. Since I was there, I figured I’d try a burger and the fried zucchini. The zucchini was hot and not horrible for a fast food joint. My burger, however, was so awful that cannot believe they had the nerve to serve it. The bottom bun was hard, pretty much stale tasting, and the actual burger was cold. I don’t mean cold as it not hot. I mean cold as in I’m not sure they remembered to heat it, or maybe it had been sitting for longer than the health department would allow.
It was so disappointing that my boyfriend actually called them to let them know how bad it was. We never call restaurants, but this was so bad that it would be wrong not to call. He nicely told them what happened. Since he really likes eating there, and was truly disappointed in the quality of the food we were served, he felt that it was a good idea to call and express his concern. Instead of providing good customer service and/or apologizing or anything, the person on the phone treated him like trash. He was told that the next time he came in that he had to bring the burger, so they could inspect it. She said other rude things that he was too upset to tell me. He asked to talk to the manager. At which point, he heard a man/boy talking in the background…and then they hung up on him
He thought maybe it was an accident, so he called back. They answered, and then hung up without saying a word. He tried to call four or five times. Each time they picked the phone up, and then immediately hung it up. So, I tried to call. I couldn’t get through either. At first, I was getting a busy signal. After a few attempts, it started ringing. After about 6 rings, I was connected to their fax machine, complete with the high-pitched squealing that they make. I called about 8 times trying to get through. Most rang 6-8 times before being switched to the fax machine. Three were answered, and then I was immediately hung up on.
I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before. I don’t remember the last time I went to a fast food place. I’m so disgusted with the unprofessional, immature, disrespectful, and downright awful customer service that we received (never mind the nasty hamburger I got) that I feel I would be doing a disservice to the public if I remained silent. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TRASHY RESTAURANT!!! I’m certain that they knew they were serving me food that wasn’t safe for human consumption. It was probably way past the “safe” time for serving. Otherwise, why would they treat their customers like they were garbage? I guess they don’t need the business. I promise you this. I know a lot of people in this area. Negative/bad reviews are much more powerful than good reviews. Everyone I know, and MANY that I don’t know, will hear about this.

Unbelievable. We went there and ordered two burgers. One was barely cooked. I called and they wanted me to bring it back. When I told them I didn’t want to drive back that night, they actually told me to save it and bring it in the next time I was in town so the manager could “examine it.” I asked to speak to the manager (the girl on the phone was very nice), and I could hear him telling her he didn’t want to talk to me. Then they hung up,. Each time I called back, they let it ring, picked up and hung up. I was polite the entire time. Never in my life have I experienced this level of poor service. Unreal.

Not good. Only people in the restaurant at the time. our food was ready 1 minute after ordering. not cooked fresh like it should have been. must of pulled burgers out of warming bin. they were cold and cheese wouldn’t even melt on the patty. Bun was soggy before you even started eating. Asked for crispy fries with no one else waiting you think they would have cooked food as requested. Will not eat here again.

Every single time I have gone here they have screwed up my order.
Tonight I received attitude from the girl that took my order and the when I got home to eat it was wrong! I guess a plain cheeseburger is too hard for their incompetent cooks and order goons to process. Well this is the last time they screw up my order. If your smart go to McDonalds!

They don’t remove the vein (poop) from the shrimp. The original chicken sandwich reminded me of the food we were served in middle school. Prices are higher than McDonald’s and food is twice is bad, but they still ask for tips even though it’s fast food.

This place has never improved. I’ve lived here a year and its the same. I just got home at 5:40 with a burger made at 5:29 and the bun is so soaked with grease it feels like oatmeal. Never again.

when they first opened I went there and ordered fish n chips and it seamed to smell bad
al b ad and looked brownish. Before I could get home, I got horribly sick with the worst stomach ache ever. Luckly I made it to the toilet and blew it apart. Never would I go back.

The hamburgers…are fantastic. The service excellent and prices and value can’t be beat. Don’t understand the low reviews, I would recommend this place for hungry travelers any day!
