Been living in Central Oregon 5 years and this was the best Carne Asada breakfast burrito I’ve had! Delicious mexican food stop tucked inside the gas station. Owner was friendly too. 🙂 Don’t miss it!

This small restaurant is located in the local Space Age Gas Station in Sisters. I ordered a Mexican Burrito with no beans or rice. It came with beans. The meat was not moist and almost tasted like it was reheated with crispy edges. The pico was good and so was the guacamole. Wasn’t too much of a fan of the crispy burrito flour as it was toasted on the outside. The green sauce was good as well. There was a bit of a wait for my burrito but there were a couple customers in front of me. For being a small local restaurant, I gave a “star curve” of 3 stars. If it was a larger restaurant, it would have been a 2-star review. However, with the pico, sauce and the guacamole being pretty good and average, I give this restaurant a 3-star review. This will be updated when I review this restaurant again. The customer service was great. So I always believe in second chances and hopefully the second review will be better than the first. The price point is average for the burrito in the area.

Best burrito to go! If you’re road tripping, stop here for 10 minutes.
Everything I could ask for in a delicious burrito. Ignore the fact that Tacos & Mas is operating out of one corner of the mini-mart at the Space Age gas station. The best taquerias are often the size of a closet. Just get your food and go to your favorite spot in or around Sisters.
I got the burrito rellenos. I would have posted a photo, but I was hungry, it was delicious, and it was in my belly before I thought about a review.
Everything was steaming hot, except the crisp lettuce (which I love), every layer had excellent flavor, it was perfectly grilled on the outside. The salsa was great and added some necessary heat.
They give a cash discount, so it was less than I thought it was going to be – and it’s already more food for less money than a burrito over at the Barn (and they doesn’t do rellenos.)

Don’t give it an extra thought, if you want the best Mexican food in Central Oregon you need to make the trip to Tacos y Mas. Mexican food inside a gas station convenience store? Yeah, who cares. The little kitchen is clean and the service is friendly. The relleno burrito is a must have. The chili rellenos are made fresh and super flavorful. The green and red salsa is fresh and delicious. I live in Bend and will drive to Sisters just to eat here.

Was a frequent customer of previous owner. Decided to give the new owner a try. I was not disappointed. From the easy to read menu, outstanding burritos, and yummy tacos, this gas station taco stand is a winner. Loved the friendly service as well!
