I order from this place sometimes and they are absolutely delicious. They are spot on with any special requests you need. I never had something I wasn’t happy with. Such delicious hot subs such as italian hot dogs, chicken parm. It is all good! I haven’t had 1 thing I didn’t like, YET.

It’s really hot out and great time to try Dematteo restaurant.
Great staff including Taryn, Shaun, the delivery driver all working at this decent Italian restaurant in the heart of PP, NJ! Once inside, there are assorted specialty pizza slices behind the glass ready to be heated and served quickly.
Fresh bakery steak roll, filled with beef, red sauce is almost as good as mine (LOL) and surprisingly good. This place offers a large menu filled with numerous Italian specialties.
Give it a go!

Great pizza spot right off the beach! They have a wide range of gourmet slices like penne pasta pizza, white pizza, Sicilian, Las Vegas, and more!
We got the Sicilian, White Slice with roasted red peppers, and the Vodka Chicken as well as some Garlic Knots. Delicious! Will be back!

came in about an hour before closing, the young men taking care of the restaurant were helpful, respectful, and quick. the food was hot, and the pizza was delicious. big slices, sweet chili chicken pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, penne vodka pizza, it all looked delicious. the chicken and fries for my daughter were perfect, and they have a good array of soft drinks and beverages. a cute little pizza shop with good food!

Delivery guy today 05/30/2025 was very rude. I asked if I can split a payment with card and cash. Instead he said I should pay everything with the card so I did. So there was cash on the table and he knew that he got everything from the card and decided to take all the cash instead as a tip? Didn’t even ask, but instead he decided to do what ever he wanted. Terrible when I asked for him to come back and threw the cash on me. So rude.

We ordered takeout and had it delivered. We ordered some of their main entrees. The food was delicious and they gave you huge portions. There are plenty of leftovers, which is what we were looking for, so we could just heat it up in our hotel room. We got our food within 20 minutes of ordering it, so it was nice and hot still. We ordered chicken tenders/ fries, baked ziti with meatballs and linguine with Alfredo. We will definitely order from here again the next time we visit!
