The plates in the photos were $17.99 each. The only thing I liked was the tostones. The chuletas were really hard to chew, and the price for one chuleta and a few tostones is outrageous. The chuleta with French fries was also overpriced for the amount of food. I really wanted to love this place because it’s 7 minutes from me and I love Dominican food, but I won’t be a repeat customer. I went for salami and tostones, but they didn’t have any, so I went with the chuleta. When my husband showed me the receipt, I was shocked. They don’t have current prices posted on Instagram, or their board. I stayed hungry because it wasn’t enough food for me. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the tostones were good and fresh. Over $50 for 3 small plates. Editing to reply to the owner. Your instagram is out of date, you have french fries as sides and have salami in your photos. I was just giving ya a shot because im pregnant and was craving tostones. The chuletas might have been big to you but they were soo hard i couldn’t chew it. And as a business your response is unprofessional. Tried this place for the first time as we always drive by it & see people waiting – we were sadly really disappointed. Firstly, my husband tried to order a dish with rice and they told him that they don’t make rice on Saturday. He asked if they had beef stew that he saw in the picture and they didn’t have that either – they also didn’t have churros. He ended up ordering the chicken mofongo for me, the steak for himself & got chicken for our daughter. The chicken was so over cooked and dry – we were only able to take a bite of a couple of the pieces because it was so hard. The mofongo didn’t really have flavor – the taste reminded me of seasoned breadcrumbs. The steak was also over cooked and the little salads that came with the meal didn’t have any dressing. Overall the dishes were just too dry & overcooked. We know that they just opened up & it could just be a bad day so we will definitely try it again & hopefully can update this review. My husband owns a food truck & feedback helped him grow so hopefully they can take this feedback to improve.

Delicious food! The mofongo is a must!
We also ate empanadas, jugo de tamarindo, jugo de chinola (aka maracuyá or passion fruit), piña colada, chicharrón de pollo, etc. and it was all tasty.
I wish they had more sitting space, but you can also order on Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes.

This place is an absolute must try! Don’t even attempt any restraint near by, this is the place!!! Great service and the food was the very best I’ve ever had! You must ask for the garlic green sauce!
