Stopped in for lunch while I was out and about taking a scenic drive from St Joseph. Found this place so I thought I would give it a try and I’m happy I did. What beautiful property, winery, bakery and restaurant. An all in one which is unheard of in my travels lately. The moment I stepped in I was taken back in time and it felt like I was at home in the country. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing! It made me think of Cracker Barrel but 100x better. Loved everything I’ve seen plus the gift shop/bakery was a few steps away. Service was great and the food was amazing. I tried the Fennville dip which is the beef in aju which tastes delicious. The cold apple cider was the best I’ve had in years, wow! I did purchase a blueberry pie and 2 donuts. All tasted amazing. I did not wonder off but had noticed some things on the property to take note of which you can see in the photos. With all that said my experience was amazing and I would definitely come back and try something different. Highly recommend and I beg others to try the cider and pie, please! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Fun fall outing to Crane’s. Packed on the second Sunday in October. Lively music being enjoyed by the crowd. We opted for the pie flight with a side vanilla ice cream and walking sloppy. Pie was good. My favorite was the Apple crumb pie and my husband thought both the cherry and blueberry were excellent. The walking sloppy was unique and was a tasty savory option to complement the pie.

Crane’s Pie Pantry is a charming, must-visit spot tucked in the heart of Michigan’s orchard country. The rustic, cozy setting feels like stepping into a slice of Americana, and the smell of fresh-baked pies is absolutely irresistible. We came for the pie and stayed for the full experience—homemade meals, friendly service, and a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The apple pie was incredible: flaky crust, perfectly spiced filling, and served warm. Their cider and baked goods are also top-notch. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or sitting down for lunch, Crane’s delivers on comfort and quality. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger and come back often. Highly recommend for anyone passing through

Was a great find for us. Staying in South Haven and made the trek and it was worth it. Breakfast food was good, with food portions, and the decor/vibe was cool. Felt more authentic than other “farm restaurants.”
Honestly, only real complaints were that the coffee was very bland and the 3% card fee (which seems to be pretty common up here).

Visited Cranes for lunch today. Left two of us had about a 40-minute wait which is typical this time of year.
Both of us ordered a soup Sandwich combination, ordering the potato soup.
The soup came 2-hour table and it wasn’t two potato, and wasn’t even told. And the have sandwich was a grilled cheese. Very disappointing.
But it is a an awesome authentic restaurant. And our server Rachel was amazing and very friendly.

Perfect space for good food and amazing views. The desserts are wonderful, and the cider donuts hit the spot year round. They have wine slushes, apple cider and frozen treats to go. The BLT & pig in the blanket are my go tos, though fall & winter I do chili or sloppy Joe’s. The inside is a nostalgic flashback-we used to come to Cranes with my Grandparents and some of the things are still here. Highly suggest for anyone visiting the lakeshore to make time for Cranes

Very fun and unique stop. The food and baked goods were wonderful. We did have the pie flight and it was delicious. Our server (Gabriel) was friendly and enthusiastic. We will definitely be back next time we are in that area.

First time here. Drove past it and decided to stop in. The food looked delicious and the wine and ciders certainly were. Cool place! Definitely will be returning soon for a meal.

Delicious! We decided to take advantage of a beautiful sunny day and head outside of GR on a Sunday after church for lunch, no wait to be seated. Older building overlooking the orchards. They do have some outside seating but we ate indoors. Very quaint, decorated with interesting wartime antiques. Hubs had the chicken wrap and I had the small orchard salad with chicken added. They have some breakfast options served all day. The menu is smaller but there are enough choices Their Sunday special is 1/2 off their cider/ wine tasting flights. We enjoyed the ciders more than the wines we tried, but to each his own. We finished by sharing the pie flight which is 4 different flavors of warm pie broken up into half pint mason jars, homemade ice cream optional. Our favorite was the raspberry rhubarb, which is a flavor neither of us have had before. There is also a bakery with fresh donuts and frozen pies to take home. We will definitely return.

The ambience was so homey! I loved the antiques every where and the old wood tables and chairs to sit in to eat. The cinnamon roll was the best! The bakery store had just enough in it to satisfy. All sorts of pies and goodies, the glassware, wines and hard ciders. Service both in the dinning and store were top notch!
