We walked into this place hoping for a decent meal, but it was a mistake from the start. We placed our order and — literally less than a minute later — asked to cancel because we changed our minds. They refused, saying it was “already being made” (in under 60 seconds? Really?).
Then we waited nearly 20 minutes for the food anyway. And when it finally came… it was shockingly bad. Easily some of the worst food I’ve ever had. Bland, greasy, and totally unappetizing — like something slapped together with zero care.
No customer service, no flexibility, and terrible food to top it off. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of time and money.

Just as everyone has mentioned this place is the absolute worse. I got 2-3 pounds of rice and 3 microwaved pieces of chicken. The bread came in a ziplock bag. The sumac is prepacked and a chuck of onion in plastic wrap. I would never recommend this place just walk next door and go to the Chinese take out place.

We were really looking forward to trying Shamsiry Express. We thought it might be connected to the famous Shamshiry restaurant, but it turns out they’re not related at all!
Honestly, we were pretty let down. The Persian food, especially the kebabs, just didn’t taste right – they weren’t authentic at all. The service wasn’t good either; it was slow and nobody really seemed to care. And to be honest, the place didn’t even seem very clean.
We left feeling very disappointed.

As a first time customer at this location, my dad and I were greeted by a very rude gentleman behind the counter.
He was very rude.
I asked for his name since he was not wearing any name tags and he paused and asked why do you need my name!!
we just walked out. with that attitude, I didn’t even trust him or anyone else in the back preparing our food. There is clearly no training and no customer service what so ever.

Fantastic Persian takeout joint and an underrated Tysons gem for lunch or post-gym-and-office dinner in the evening. The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and comes in huge portions. What more do you want?

Their employee running the cash register is very clearly inebriated. He is off balance, slurring his words and can’t recall the orders he’s taken. Right after placing my order and paying he asked me what I wanted and tried to charge me again. He is also yelling at people calling in to place orders. I’m reporting here because the owner is apparently on vacation and I want to ensure s/he is aware and that there is record of this incident.

The service was significantly delayed. I stood at the counter, waiting to pay, as the cashiers were distracted, chatting and laughing in the back, completely unaware of my presence. including that the quality of my order was disappointing, with the chicken being partially burned and having an unpleasant taste.
