I’ve visited six other locations in other states in the past, and this one is no different. The food, service, ambiance, and experience are always exceptional and memorable. It is expensive, but it’s less than some similar high-end steakhouses.
On this occasion we ordered a ribeye, filet mignon, salmon with shrimp, Cobb salad, and mashed potatoes. The steaks were juicy, tender, bursting with flavor, and cooked perfectly. The salmon was fresh and flaky with a delightful cream sauce that was so delicious I even dipped a few pieces of steak in it. It was absolutely perfect! The salad and mashed potatoes were wonderful, as well, and then we finished the meal with bread pudding and vanilla ice cream.
Service was exceptional and it’s such a relaxing and enjoyable experience at Ruth’s Chris. I always love coming here and I’m glad to say this location is holding up the stellar reputation. I look forward to another visit for my next special occasion, when it’s well worth the price.

Ruth Chris is quite literally the champion of steaks and their other menu options shine just as bright. In terms of steak itself the experience is in another stratosphere of delicious with different cuts for every desire. Sides are served family style which isn’t my favorite format, but they are good for 2 people and the attention to detail is amazing. Starters like salads and deserts at the end are also as well thought out. Service is top notch and properly matches the elegance of the dining room, the bar, and the outside eating area. They’re also attentive, classy, friendly, and all around well trained. In terms of drinks they offer all your core items including fun cocktails and while I found most things to be a heavy pour I think it actually adds a bit to the overall experience. All in all this place is very expensive, but you’ll quite literally have one of the best steaks of your life served on a hot plate with butter.

I had a great experience. I can’t recall the name of the manager but he was amazing. From the moment we walked in, during our meal, and after. He was going table to table checking in. The waitress we had she had a very unique name i wish i could remember it but she was absolutely amazing. Attentive service was 10/10! The food was very good!! The steak was excellent better than another steak house I’ve been to. lol just know the quality of food here is good. There were some items i wasn’t a fan of but it didn’t change my experience in any way. I wasn’t a fan of the creamed spinach. Just not enough flavor for me. And the kids meal was a bit too much for my niece. I wasn’t sure why she didn’t like the chicken until i tried it myself. It had some type of cheese sauce underneath and it wasn’t needed. The chicken by itself was delicious juicy tender but the cheese sauce sitting underneath was an acquired taste. We didn’t care did it. But everything else we had 10/10 and service was great! Definitely recommend for any occasion. They also do a great job with the upkeep of the restaurant clean, no wear and tear well at least not visible! Bathrooms upscale looking. The details matter and they do a great job! Definitely will be back!

EDIT…have been back a couple times since this review and last night we dined in the dining room for the first time!! What an experience, SCOTT did an amazing job!!! Just needed to give him a shout out!!!! It’s Ruth’s, I really don’t need to say anything but then I wouldn’t be Joe Joe!!! Walking up to the red doors I said to myself…does a kid from Folcroft belong here? We walked through the red doors and the cool guy at the front said “you’re home” under my breath I said…he don’t know Folcroft!! . I also didn’t see a laundry room with mountains of clothes all over the floor, I was a little confused !!! My mom could actually run a tab at Folcroft Pizza . Ruth’s could not be nicer and more inviting if they tried!! I would have cried but I used to wear contacts! We were seated in the bar area and as you walked through you knew it was going to be an experience! Lydia our server was so nice and recommended the Lobster Mac n Cheese side…jackpot!!!! Soooo good and enough for 2 as a side!! We each had the 16oz NY strips and they were absolutely amazing!! I’m not a big drinker but since I was at Ruth’s I said when in Newtown Square…had the Ruth’s Manhattan and it was banging!!! That !! Ruth’s is not cheap but you will not get a meal like this at other restaurants, Ruth’s is top notch!! If my dad didn’t walk out when I was 15 he’d be proud of me!!! I don’t need to say it but there is no doubt I will be back…Ruth’s is fabulous!!!!!

We came here for my husband’s birthday, and it was the best decision. Every drink and dish was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. They made us feel like family. So glad they opened in our neighborhood.

We visit Ruth’s Chris for special occasions every few years. This year we chose to visit for our Valentine’s Dinner. It’s been a while since we’ve been to a Ruth’s Chris and our first time at this location. Let me just say WOW! The food was cooked perfectly, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable! We will definitely be returning to this location.

Excellent service! Went last night with my husband, mother and sister. Kimberly was our waitress and amazing. The general manager, I forgot his name was welcoming and friendly. There was a family with kids that was a little loud and they made sure we were comfortable considering the event. All and all we always dine at Ruth Chris and it’s always a great experience. Everyone here was great! The food is always good!

My first time ever at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. We were a party of 4, our friends are loyal Ruth Chris customers. Service was outstanding. From Nicole at the hostess stand, Tiffany, our amazing server, the bussers who kept our water and bread refilled, and the 2 managers who stopped by our table when there was a mix up with our order. There was a mistake made with our order and they could not do enough to make it right. From remaking my entree, to comping my entree and drinks, they truly care about customer service.
I am not really a steak eater, but I should have, in retrospect, ordered the petite filet. The steaks looked and smelled delicious. I ordered the Salmon (which is topped with shrimp), I have a seafood allergy and Tiffany said they would put the shrimp on the side, and my friend could have it. Unfortunately, it came out on top, so they remade my order. By the time it came out, the rest of our party were finished, and I had filled up on the awesome side dishes (seriously, I could make a meal on the side dishes alone!) so I took my salmon home to enjoy tomorrow. But the staff also sent us home with and extra dessert and sides. Top notch customer service all around. I cannot say enough good things about the entire team there. Thank you

Super steaks …..also great professional staff and the drinks are excellent…It’s a big place very upscale but friendly and they make you feel comfortable..If you want a great tasting steak you won’t go wrong. Also there menu has a variety of other choices ..

Real nice place. See photos. Modern Ambiance. Fully staffed. Ready to serve.
Bartender Brian took good care of us at the bar.
Hot bread was nice.
Nice Strong drinks too – my wife loved their southern twist on the manhattan, my old fashioned needed more sweet for my taste.
Tried happy hour and menu items.
Calamari was light, nice chili dip.
Caesar salad typical steakhouse version.
My wife loved the tuna happy hour plate.
Got the wine-filet-shrimp deal. The steak was SOOOOO SALTY! Dial that back. Didn’t get the sizzle they used to have (disappointing) but got the scorching hot plate!
It’s the first week so they say it’s better to give them time to get their feet but I say be ready on the first day.
It’s a fantastic addition to this area and looks like it’s a hit already.
