Would definitely recommend this hidden gem. Unassuming side streets kept the bright interior under wraps. Delicious food, polite service and generous portions. Had chicken normally, butter chicken, samosas, and both types of naan. Would recommend them all. Could probably have upped the spice a tad on butter chicken, but now I know for next time (and there will be a next time!!)

Best little corner street restaurant! I was skeptical about trying at first as I’m not a fan of spicy food, but I love the options for spice level!
I got the butter chicken street bowl mild with butter naan. It was the perfect blend of spices!
My other half got the lamb biriani hot! Said it was amazing!
We also got a dessert for our meal being over $25, and I was not expecting the warm soft sweetness burst in my mouth
10/10 would go again!

7 Sep 25. Stopped for lunch. Small place with 16 seats available. The place has no rest room. No basin for washing hands even.
The food was tasty and hot though. Garlic nan, chicken Tikka, Dal Tadka, Chaat fries, Mixed vegetables were good. Aloo Parathas were slightly hard. Overall experience Very good.

This place smells amazing, even from the parking lot. We ordered vegan versions of the following:

– Chana Masala (mild)
My partner’s favorite curry and he says this is easily the best Chana Masala he’s ever had.

– Veg Hakka Noodles
I was totally expecting a more traditional chow mein flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised that the flavor was very unique and delicious.

– Garlic Naan
My partner LOVED the naan. I am not a huge bread eater and I loved the bites I had, too.

– Vegetable Samosas
Delicious!

Been here twice. Last summer was painfully hot and couldn’t wait to leave. Recently it was quiet, the staff was very nice, they asked about how spicy I wanted my food but brought vey mild instead of extreme spicy, It was disappointment but the food was otherwise good.

Super friendly woman working out front and great service. Delicious food as well! I would order spicier than my usual here, but the flavors in the dishes we got were amazing. Will definitely be back to try more! I previously tried them through doordash when they were using the rented commercial kitchen so I can say their food also travels well. Can’t go wrong!

My husband and I ordered from Spice of India on Friday as we really wanted to try this new spot out. It did not disappoint. We ordered pick up and food was prepared and ready right on time. We ordered two of the street style bowls which were generous portions. I would say my husband chose hot but said it wasn’t that spicy. We also ordered samosas, Samosa chaat, spicy onion rings and an order of garlic naan. The samosas were large and the samosa chaat appetizer was a good portion as well. The only issue we had was the order of garlic naan was only one piece and was small. Overall, we really enjoyed our food and thought everything was reasonably priced. We will be going back to try some of the other street food dishes, especially all the different fries.

Food quality was very inconsistent, the paneer gravy was decent, but the cauliflower Manchurian were not good. Lassi felt like it was from a can and frankly the paneer gravy felt like it was from a frozen bag. One of the server was nice, while one other was not having a good day The whole place was very smoky, would not recommend dine in, it is mainly a takeout joint.

I had the chance to try Spice of India recently, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — every dish was rich in authentic spices without being overwhelming. The portions were generous, and the presentation made it even more enjoyable.
The desserts were the perfect finishing touch — sweet, authentic, and beautifully prepared. They balanced the meal so well and made the experience extra special.
The staff was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great service and such delicious food. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend Spice of India — easily one of the best dining experiences in Binghamton!

Just ordered from here for the first time and was very happy with my order! I got the butter chicken with potatoes and rice. Garlic naan bread and vegetable samosas. The heat is just right and the flavor is delicious!
