Absolutely nothing bad to say about this adorable coffee shop! They have amazing staff that kept a lively and friendly atmosphere even when it got super busy! Their coffee is so delicious with a wide variety of flavors and non-coffee options! The only thing that could’ve elevated their coffee was an actual espresso machine instead of an automatic one but coffee was still great!

I would definitely recommend coming here for a cute spot for coffee and conversation!

This location just opened up a while ago, and for starting off fresh in a new location, they’ve done a really great job at capturing their previous locations aesthetic while opening their doors to a new café interior. Didn’t wait in line for my food and drinks, they have a line of fancier syrups but also some streamline syrups, and their drinks were at a perfect sweetness! If you already like Spice and Lemon from the Spirit Lake location, you’ll love eating indoors here. If you’re new, then this location is the coziest café in the Arnold’s Park region with the tastiest food & drinks!

I’m from out of town and stopped in for a cold brew and sandwich. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The cold brew was perfect and not too bitter. The breakfast panini was delicious. The inside decor is light and welcoming, and the outdoor seating is comfortable and perfect for groups. Staff went above and beyond to make it a quality experience. Definitely a gem of a coffee shop!

Excellent coffee, the owner went the extra mile to make me something modified with my dairy allergy and it was the most delicious, unique coffee drink I’ve ever had that I had to keep going back every day to get it. Her and her staff really made my entire family feel so welcome on our vacation! Absolutely love the place, and her journey as a mom and new business owner!! I know personally how hard it is to start a business and the growing pains along the way! Go easy with new businesses and know that your reviews really help! I’ve been coming to Okoboji for 22 years and seen a lot of turnover over the years and this is definitely a coffee shop I want to see for another 22 years! Best of luck!!

Our visit to Spice & Lemon was nothing less than fantastic! Warm and welcoming staff, delicious drinks made with high quality matcha which I am oh so grateful for! Grab and go chemical free snacks, a diverse drink selection, Harney and Sons tea options available.. and to top it all off this is most ADORABLE coffee shop complete with outdoor seating and wonderful photography opportunities. I am thoroughly impressed and will be back everytime I come to town.

New spot in the Old Arnold’s Perk. No website, no menu online and in the cafe there were only 2 food menus, no drink menus. Automated espresso machines, commercial syrup (not all bad since drinks will likely be consistent) Because the line was long and there wasn’t a menu or list of flavors, we just ordered caramel lattes. If you like your latte sweet, be sure to ask for extra syrup as it was flavored, but not very sweet. One of our coffees was made wrong so we ended up with a vanilla and a caramel which were both good, not sure if it would rank as my go-to next vacation, but it’s a decent option.

Very busy place for a good reason! Their specialty drinks are amazing and so creative! The French toast latte was delicious. Their cold foam is the best! Will definitely be back when in town.

This was the first time trying Spice and Lemon and we went to the recently opened one in Arnold’s Park. Heads up, currently (likely because they are waiting on them or still making them) a menu for the drinks isn’t shown. This does make it a bit more difficult, but just like anything, no big deal, they are happy to help figure out what you want. I read the reviews before I went, a few people complaining about the “automatic” espresso machine. As a former barista, the type of machine they have is super helpful for a busy cafe. It ensures that the espresso being pulled is smooth and perfect, while not taking away time from the baristas. Making a “traditional” espresso takes more time, something a lot of people would complain about as well. The flavors we picked (caramel and white chocolate) in an iced latte with oatmilk was fabulous! Anytime I am back in town this will be the thing I do on Sundays!
