We came here because the owner was handing out pizza samples and the meat pizza was delicious!!!! Freshly and hot and not greasy! So I got a pesto chicken sandwhich because I saw fries and they looked perfect. Wife got an omelet. And its hard to believe but everything on our plates had effort. Perfectly toasted bread, green lettuce, red perfectly cut tomatoes. Sandwhich was best chicken pesto sandwhich I’ve had. Wife’s omelet was delicious as well. The sausage was diced and every piece was sautéed and had a great color. Unlike most places that just microwave and cut up. The potatoes were perfectly fried and golden brown and not dripping in oil. And we got a Hawaiian pizza because I can’t eat pork for dietary reasons and man it was thee Best pizza I’ve had in a minute. And for the price definitely worth it. And lastly we tried the apple bread and man it was thee best ever!!! It was warm and soft and sweet but not crazy sweet. We bought 2 more to go. All together we’ll be returning here more often. Maybe we visited on an OFF day as I don’t normally leave bad reviews.
This place was our entertainment for an hour and half or so. It was dysfunctional from the moment we walked in. It was as if the normal staff had all walked out the previous day and everyone was having a first day. From the servers to the kitchen. Looked for a host, found no one. Waited by the entrance, then walked toward the kitchen where someone said, “sit anywhere.” We did. Our order was taken, water promised, nothing showed up. No utensils or napkins. Ordered drinks, half showed up, the others were left on the bar until we asked for them. We ordered bread sticks, they took 40 minutes. Other items came out before, well 3 of the other 4 things we ordered. A Portabella Burger where the mushroom was the BUN and not the contents! The contents contained an impossible patty. Mozzarella sticks, that tasted fine, but were sloppily tossed onto a large plate with marinara. Lucky we kept said marinara for the bread sticks as when they showed up, they came with nothing. We were also advised to TRY the sticks to make sure that after 40 minutes they were fully cooked. They were and they were fine. Then a second order showed up and we were asked if we wanted those, too. We took them as this plate had marinara sauce. One of the items ordered was a bacon spinach dip, which we were told was not available after waiting 30 min for it to arrive. Was it on the final bill? Of course it was.

Ohhhh myyyyy!!! Hunny’s is AMAZING ✨ . 6 of us girls are having our getaway and stopped in Palm Springs for lunch. We arrived just a few minutes late for our usual lunch spot. So we chose Hunny’s because of their 4.6 rating. Well, each of us were soooo IMPRESSED with our food choices that I had to let everyone know!! PS: you must try the Waffles with their honey syrup.
