It’s so hard to find food that’s fresh and made from scratch. The soup was so hearty and delicious. The bread tastes like my mom used to make and it just felt so cozy and lovely. The staff are super friendly as well and I just love that it this place exists.

OMG! The pastries are to die for! Highly recommend the salmon/cream cheese croissant, the ham n cheese croissant, the maple bacon twist, and fruit and yogurt parfait. And grab an oatmeal raisin peanut butter cookie! The freshly brewed coffee is delicious as well as the unsweetened matcha latte. This place is amazing!

My wife and I stopped by to try this place out during our recent trip to Estes, and all I can say is WOW! We tried the maple bacon twist, bear claw, blueberry cream cheese, and apple cinnamon pastry over several days. All of them were absolutely delicious! Perfectly flaky, fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness without being over the top. The employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed browsing the selection of spices and gifts. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

If you ever see this business on Too Good To Go do your self a favor and DO NOT purchase a surprise bag. My husband picked up two of their surprise bags this afternoon that were supposed to be a $21 value each ($41 total) and this is what they gave him. One muffin, one scone, and croutons I guess? I’m not sure since those aren’t even on their menu online. What a huge letdown.

Absolutely a must visit bakery in the mountains! We got there late around 10am & had the most wonderful pastries & had the privilege of trying the very first 2 sandwiches ever sold! We had them on top of a mountain & it was so good even a few hours later!! I highly recommend this bakery!

The lemon curd pastry was out of this world! I got the matcha latte. It was delicious as well. It’s unsweetened so just ask for sweetener . I loved the atmosphere; very positive and uplifting. I’ll be back!

The Spice Rack may not be the biggest bakery, but its carefully curated selection delivers on quality. We tried six different items, and every single one met the high standards of this home baker.

The Highlights:
Maple Bacon Pastry – Absolute perfection. The shatteringly crisp crunch (ASMR-worthy!) with that sweet-salty-maple magic has me still trying to reverse-engineer their technique. A maple syrup wash? Whatever it is, it’s genius.
Cinnamon Sugar Twist – My husband’s favorite, with perfectly balanced spice. Soft and comforting.

Why It Stands Out:
✓ Flawless execution – The proof, bake, and textures were all on point
✓ Unique offerings alongside classics
✓ Just the right size selection – no filler, all quality

Final Thought: If you’re anywhere near Estes Park, do not miss this bakery. That maple bacon pastry alone is worth the trip.

We sneaked in 8 minutes before closing and were treated like old friends. The coffee and pastries were outrageously good. Finally the Donut Haus in Estes Park has some classy competition!

Limited photo of the MOST delicious pastry ever because we ate it so fast – maple bacon croissant twist. The dough is coated in maple syrup and the thick cut bacon is perfectly cooked and also coated with the REAL maple syrup. Unreal.

Such a cute spot with tons of indoor seating to sit for a while. Coffee is great.

The folks working are genuinely friendly and happy to see you. The interior is so stylish which isn’t a must for me but definitely a plus.
