Sad place, bad taste , terrible service!
Where sure I start ?
First of all, I once ordered a shrimp parm dinner and they gave me a sandwich!
And second time I ordered delivered ( 2 Dinner Shrimp Parmesan ( and only one was received and it wasn’t a shrimp they send me chicken Parmesan ♂️ which by the way tasted like cardboard, it sakes like they had this chicken in the fridge for like a week) they claimed I’ve ordered only one order
And lastly since they changed owners.the service has been just bad, starting with the taste on the food, I honestly wanted to give them my business which I have for the past 20 years since we moved here from Brooklyn and we thought that this was actually a good comparison to what we used to have back home in BK, sadly we have to look for another place.

I heard this place had new management so I decided to give them a try. I ordered their zuppa de pesce and their fettuccini Alfredo w/ shrimp. My God, it was perfect!! My son got a plain slice and he said it was one of the best he’s eaten. He had to get another two. They had jarritos which I’ve always wanted to try and I absolutely loved it. Staff was friendly and attentive so that was a plus. Anyways I think I found my new go-to

Seen the new management sign upfront, figured I’d give it a try. To be honest I was surprised, pizza was great. Sauce had flavor, crust had the crisp. No complaints at all. Service was friendly, looked clean inside. Potentially a great Beachwood pizza spot. Highly recommended checking it out again if you had mixed reviews in the past.

I walked in here tonight asked for a large pie, and one slice while I wait. They tried to give me a pie that was on top of the oven for I don’t know how long. I said to the man who was making pizza how is it possible to have my pie done in two minutes after I walked in (not a pre-order) he laughs and said sorry. I asked could I get the slice while I’m waiting for the pizza he then tell the girl in Spanish give him both. Again, No I want a fresh pie I won’t take that pie that was sitting there. My grandmother ran her own restaurant, and let me tell you Capri made it very difficult for me to ever walk back in there again. My ricotta slice was barely above room temp so I had to wait a reheat it at home. The plain pie had enough cheese and it was good, it just felt like dentistry work to just get him to make me a fresh pie. I can understand the urge to collect the money. They asked for it before they tried pulling a fast one they raised the asking price because I asked for a fresh pie, which in my opinion violates customer service to the max. The only reason I gave two stars is because the counter girls were nice and I have a soft spot for small businesses.

Oh no, a 1 star experience! I was on vacation in quiet Bayville and asked a local to recommend a decent nearby pizzeria and she pointed me here so I rolled the dice. What a mistake. Being from Northern Jersey we are spoiled with excellent pizza options and this place dropped the ball hard. I asked for a Margherita with anchovies and extra cheese – I wanted fresh sliced mutz as the extra cheese, not just more regular shredded cheese. So a two topping large pie. They charge me $33 and I was like wait a second, something has to be wrong here and the counter boy was like “Uh no, those toppings you got are special toppings so they cost extra and the prices have gone up for all ingredients.” I stomached that instead of causing a scene, walked out grumbling to myself this better be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, BUT I should have looked at the pie before I brought it home. ALWAYS DO THAT! Pure disaster just by the looks of it. Wilted crust, flavorless sauce, no extra cheese like I wanted, anchovies disappeared – just BAD. I did eat most of the pie over two days but that’s bc I was lazy. It was one of the worst I’ve had lately. So I went on their website to check the prices out bc I felt strongly that they ripped me off – and they did. I went back the next day and demanded $8 back, which is the price it should have been. I should have asked for the whole amount back but I did eat the pie so that was that. In a nutshell – just avoid this crumbling facade.

Our go to pizza place. Good crust, dough and sauce. Good deals and friendly staff/owners. Can’t complain about much with this establishment. Have a variety of entrees, apps and subs.
