The HD Tavern was so much FUN! We stopped in to watch a football game and ended up staying for Karoake night!The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grilled cheese sandwich was Amazing!! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!!

Enjoyed the Chicago dogs and Ditka polish. Traditional dog great taste. The polish had a little spice to it with grilled onions, mustard and sport peppers. Tasted great.
We went in the mid afternoon and the bartender/server, Miles, was excellent in making and serving the meal. For sports fans, 3 big TVs to watch. HD Tavern was a great find for us visiting from Chicago.

They decorated for Christmas so the vibes are great. The bartenders rock, very kind & respectful and got to my order right away. Be sure to spin the wheel if you go. I highly recommend the Dew drop hotdog or Philly Cheese stake if you’re ordering food.

HD Tavern is the kind of place you hope to find in a ski town and then secretly don’t want to tell anyone about because it’ll get too busy.

This review sucks to write. This place is a gem but we waited over an hour for 3 hot dogs. Employees taking shots in the back ski area and having a great time while everyone waits. This place gets busy and usually does great at serving a full house with drinks. It was dead today in comparison. “lets stop food early and make more tips on drinks” is what the drunk staff said to each other. Unacceptable and embarrassing it’s a “Chicago” place. Don’t call yourself a Chicago vibe establishment- you give us a bad name in Breck. They also provide ketchup with hotdogs – clearly no clue what a Chicago remote establishment should be.

While in Breckenridge we decided to give this place a try. The food was good, but as far as affordability goes, it’s not much different than any other place in town. In fact, I would say, unless you’re getting a hotdog it may be more expensive than other places in town. My son got the grilled cheese and we all looked at it and wondered how it costed $13.49. For a couple dollars extra he could’ve gotten fries, or had we been on top of our game, we could have gotten a kids meal and gotten the fries for $.50 more.
At the end of our meal, there was no itemized receipt of the food that we purchased. Instead the bar tender came by and told us what we owed which was a bit shady.
When we come back to Breckenridge, I doubt we’ll be visiting here again.

Local town vibe with great bartenders. Darts, shots, and great food, what more can you ask for. Five stars all around.
