Social Profile:

Named after a slang term for a speakeasy, The Blind Pig is another nod to Key West’s role in Prohibition and will dish out a selection of Conch fusion small bites and tapas-a style of cuisine inspired by Key West’s Cuban, Bahamian, Caribbean, and Floridian roots. Paired with cocktails from Key West First Legal Rum Distillery at Rum Row and Rodriguez Cigars at the cigar lounge and garden, The Blind Pig is sure to be one of the liveliest Key West food trucks in town. The Blind Pig is open daily to the public and hotel guests.

Grab-&-go truck at the Gates Hotel offering tapas, Cuban breakfast sandwiches, tacos & burgers.

First off, I was slightly disappointed when I went for breakfast and was told they don’t serve breakfast anymore. So I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich, and it was amazing! Even the chips were crisp and delicious (I think they’re kettle cooked). Highly recommend for “dine in” or carry out. Ordering is at the bar. The staff was friendly and inviting. There is plenty of seating at the bar or around the grounds.

Soooo good! Fish tacos are my favorite. My husband had a “In the kisser” burger & Truffle Fries that were amazing. Also we got Mile High Nachos that were never-ending! Fresh food & good prices. We’ll be back.

Fantastic and HUGE portions! I got the nachos with pulled pork (looks a little messy after I mixed it all up lol) and a pulled pork sandwich with fries Worth every penny which brings me to next thing, price is reasonable about $11 per on average I’d say.

This is a food truck but they have a nice little setup with plenty of covered tables. Nice change of pace from the busy restaurants. Definitely make the stop!

I’ve eaten here quite a few times. The food trailer looks clean and well kept, their website; however, needs some updating. Hours claim 10pm and are actually open until 9pm. Their menu boasts a good amount of variety on the website, but in person is almost half of what is advertised. Its menu was a factor in us booking the hotel, only to be let down once we got here. Beyond that, I can say, on a positive note their food does taste good, and are good to take to go as well. I recommend for a quick meal, but nothing to write home about. Beware, you can only order from the bar adjacent to the food trailer most times. There are times where it should be open and it may not be.

We enjoyed the loaded nachos. It was made fresh and the wait time wasn’t too bad. They don’t have a lot of options on the menu but it was a good snack.

Very disappointed. Looked at the menu and the pricing. When we got back to the hotel there was a sign up to order from the Rum Runner Bar. Different menu and prices about $10 more than what was on the online menu. We left without trying anything. Update your menu and pricing

Food truck in shaded area between 2 hotels.
The food was good.
The only issue was ordering. The sign said to go to the bar, but I didn’t have a sign to tell you where the bar was. It was bar at hotel pool, but which hotel. Just needed better signage.

Stopped here while walking around. Looked at the menu and noticed there was a pulled pork sandwich called the Blind Pig. I decided to try it and… it was delicious! Great taste, not overbearing and easily digestive.
