Introduction to Rye Pier Pho Vietnamese Restaurant in Rye VIC
Reviews
To make it worse, the container I received with all the garnishes had around 7 bean sprouts which looked like they had been sitting there for weeks.
You’d think since ‘pho’ is in their restaurant name, their pho would be edible and enjoyable. Do not recommend this restaurant for authentic Vietnamese pho!
We ordered the Satay Chicken, Sugarcane Prawns, Pork Spring Rolls and the Bolalot Grilled to share.
It wasn’t long before the food arrived and it was delicious – especially the Bolalot. We visited Vietnam last year and were excited to see such an authentic dish on their menu!
This is a very busy location during the summer period and I have no doubt that the staff are worked very hard so it was nice to see that they were still welcoming customers (right up to close) with a smile.
Keep up the great work!
Of hospitality. Very pleasant experience. Stunning position and nice furnishings of the entire restaurant!
Highly recommend it.
We ordered the laksa soup noodle and found a big piece of plastic in the soup. I tried to get the waitress attention. The first time we had eye contact, she pretended she did not see me and obviously avoided to look at me again. After a while, I finally got her attention when she was close by. We told her about the plastic in the soup and she said she would ask the kitchen what to do. But that was it! No further explanation and no apology. Seems like they just didn’t care…
Food was also too salty and oily. Definitely would not recommend to go there.
Food was quite good but a little bit on the expensive side. My kids were happy with the chicken on rice options and my wife enjoyed the chicken breast pho.
I unfortunately found my Bun Bo Hue, didn’t really have the great flavour you would accept but was rather just covered with chilli.
Would definitely recommend to those who are visiting the area, there is a new place buzz going on at the moment but hoping their product slowly gets better.
Food came out very sporadically and the team member had a loud pinging tablet as she was trying to take my order – hope this can be a smoother experience in future.
I must say the Pho was not up to our expectations at all, I asked for vegies in mine , they didn’t bother to put them in, it tasted like warm water, we were very disappointed. The chicken was over cooked only the satay sauce was nice. Salted Calamari was tough.
Unfortunately we won’t be back, poor service.
