A couple of nights ago I decided to get some take away from this restaurant. The girl who took my order was very lovely- but I am incredibly disappointed with the food I received. I ordered the sliced beef pho, the broth was bland and tasted like water; it didn’t have the rich broth colour as pho should. The beef was so incredibly bland and chewy and had no flavour as well. To make the pho even slightly edible, I had to add sauces and spices at home, but even then, it was still very unenjoyable to eat- and I ultimately threw it away.
To make it worse, the container I received with all the garnishes had around 7 bean sprouts which looked like they had been sitting there for weeks.
You’d think since ‘pho’ is in their restaurant name, their pho would be edible and enjoyable. Do not recommend this restaurant for authentic Vietnamese pho!

Dined here recently after a long day spent down in busy Rye. It was later in the evening, and the restaurant was packed, but the staff were still able to greet us with a welcoming smile, and found us a table for dinner.
We ordered the Satay Chicken, Sugarcane Prawns, Pork Spring Rolls and the Bolalot Grilled to share.
It wasn’t long before the food arrived and it was delicious – especially the Bolalot. We visited Vietnam last year and were excited to see such an authentic dish on their menu!
This is a very busy location during the summer period and I have no doubt that the staff are worked very hard so it was nice to see that they were still welcoming customers (right up to close) with a smile.
Keep up the great work!

Amazing pho! We are returning customers for pho. Incredible generous amount of ingredients in pho and tastes amazing. Most importantly, no feeling of thirst after them. Owner’s full
Of hospitality. Very pleasant experience. Stunning position and nice furnishings of the entire restaurant!
Highly recommend it.

I know why the rating of this place is low!! I would not pick this restaurant if we were not starving and it was hard to get a sit in other places at weekend.
We ordered the laksa soup noodle and found a big piece of plastic in the soup. I tried to get the waitress attention. The first time we had eye contact, she pretended she did not see me and obviously avoided to look at me again. After a while, I finally got her attention when she was close by. We told her about the plastic in the soup and she said she would ask the kitchen what to do. But that was it! No further explanation and no apology. Seems like they just didn’t care…
Food was also too salty and oily. Definitely would not recommend to go there.

This is a really interesting replacement for the many places that have been here. There’s a nice clean feel to the place with an easy to understand menu.

Food was quite good but a little bit on the expensive side. My kids were happy with the chicken on rice options and my wife enjoyed the chicken breast pho.

I unfortunately found my Bun Bo Hue, didn’t really have the great flavour you would accept but was rather just covered with chilli.

Would definitely recommend to those who are visiting the area, there is a new place buzz going on at the moment but hoping their product slowly gets better.

Food came out very sporadically and the team member had a loud pinging tablet as she was trying to take my order – hope this can be a smoother experience in future.

Don’t waste your time. My husband and I went for lunch, we were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived. We got served fairly quickly but had to go to the counter to ask for our drinks. I had the chicken pho and my husband had the pork pho. While the pork pho was slightly tastier, the chicken was rubbery and the pho was tasteless. We visited Vietnam recently and it was nothing at all like what we had there. The herbs were limp and definitely not fresh and the bean sprouts were water logged. We were also given a lemon slice, not lime. The dishes had chips in them and when we commented to the waitress, she just giggled. I went to pay, the waiter told me there would be a surcharge to use card, but I had to ask to see the bill, he hadn’t given me a copy and couldn’t tell me how much the surcharge would be. As local, we were excited for this restaurant to open, but unfortunately won’t be going back.

Dined there last night with friends, it was recommended to go to
I must say the Pho was not up to our expectations at all, I asked for vegies in mine , they didn’t bother to put them in, it tasted like warm water, we were very disappointed. The chicken was over cooked only the satay sauce was nice. Salted Calamari was tough.
Unfortunately we won’t be back, poor service.

We came in hoping for some vegan vegetarian food! But due to popularity for vegan vegetarian… they were sold out on tofu! 🙂 we got the vermicelli salad with spring rolls instead, and veg pho! Both were lovely with fresh veggies 🙂 thank you to the staff on Tonight (Tuesday 5 Nov) for suggestions and options and serving up some delightful and colourful food for us. Sorry, we started eating then took some photos of our half eaten food. Definitely hope you can make a bigger vegetarian vegan menu!!! Thank you 🙂

Always love the food here and the setting. They have recently changed to order at table and no split bills which is not good as different groups want to eat together. Used to go and order at counter and pay before… much better. Vietnamese staff always friendly and accommodating
