This was my 1st time visiting the Goat. The place was immaculate. Spotless from floor to ceiling. The service was fantastic, caring and professional. The food was hot and delicious. Take a look at the pictures! A place worth a visit in my opinion.
The only thing I would be hesitant of is parking out back under the trees. The trees are called “tree of heaven”. This is a tree that attracts the spotted lantern fly. These bugs poop alot. Your car will be covered like ours was and you will feel the poop landing on you as you walk under the trees. Nasty!! I would recommend the removal of these trees to avoid future issues. The bugs will eventually kill the trees and then it will be hazardous under the trees and they drop limbs.
That aside, stop in for a drink and some food. Hurry, go now…

3/1/25 – the Pocono Duo was playing and doing their traditional “Ween Night” performance. They did a nice job with this place. Decent length bar, nice Booths and tables. Classy joint.

I found this bar to grab something to eat while away for work. When I arrived I found parking in their small lot nearby. I walked in and sat at the bar. Not the most comfortable seats but it made due. Kenzie was my bartender and she was cool. I ordered the lemon drop martini and it was tasty. I then ordered the long island but it was too sweet so switched to red wine.
For my meal, I got buffalo shrimp and that was very good. It had the right amount of spice. I then ordered the mahi sliders. Those were super tasty and filling! I enjoyed the coleslaw on it. I did have a pretty good experience all in all.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on a Saturday evening. Not too crowded, the food was very good with affordable prices. Chicken/cheese steak was loaded with chicken and the nacho appetizer was also very tasty. I would go back again next time i pass through Stroudsburg.

I’m Visiting from Jersey and stopped by , i read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. I swear you won’t be disappointed! The food is simple yet packed with so much flavor . Our server who was the bartender was so nice and attentive. I would come here again and definitely would take the drive just to eat this again !

Clean, contemporary bar/restaurant with reliably tasty food at modest prices. The cheesesteak was delicious, as were the General Tso chicken wings. Tom, the daytime bartender/server, is welcoming and attentive. We stop in now whenever we are downtown.
