Got the chicken tender and shrimp combo. The shrimp were really good. The chicken lost its batter in places and became very greasy inside itself. Chicken had the most flavor. The fries were some of the blandest I’ve tried yet. No seasoning what so ever.

I had this flounder shrimp fries. The fries seemed overcooked did not like the fries the fish is dipped in cornmeal and then fried its seemed ok but more on the hard side shrimp seemed the same way long john silvers was better than this

I love this place. It can be hit or miss at times. I’ve had the gizzards, the wings and the fish with shrimp. The food is good although it’s not highly seasoned. The flavor comes from the lemon pepper that they sprinkle on top. With that being said, sometimes the food is sprinkled well and sometimes it’s not. Be sure to ask for lemon pepper on the meat and the fries. Sometimes the fries can be a little under done and not drained well which makes them soggyy. The service is exceptional and my food has never been cold. Also, the lunch specials are worth the price. My biggest complaint is that there has been a bad smell inside of the restaurant on a few occasions. It smell like they have issues with the pipes. I hate this for them. I hope they can get that situation taken care because it gives a bad impression. Overall, I give this establishment 4 stars.

I ordered a 2-piece tilapia fried hard with fries and EXTRA lemon pepper seasoning, plus ranch for dipping. When I got home and finally sat down to eat, I realized there was no extra seasoning and no ranch.
I drove all the way back to Hip Hop Chicken & Seafood to fix what was clearly their mistake. They gave me ranch, but the manager told me they could not give me seasoning unless I paid $8 for a tiny cup. Mind you, they freely give out small sauce containers for ranch and hot sauce, which could have easily been used for seasoning. He flat-out refused.
Instead, the manager told me I needed to drive back home, bring the food back, and they would season it. I explained that if I had to go all the way back home and return again, they would need to remake my food. His response? “Go get the food.”
So I did. When I returned and handed him the food, I asked if it was really necessary to make me drive back and forth just to fix THEIR mistake. He shrugged his shoulders and threw my food away. No apology. No explanation. Complete disregard.
I explained how inconvenient and frustrating this was, and he completely ignored my concerns, only saying he’d “replace the meal” as if that excused the disrespect and wasted time.
This was beyond bad service, it was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I will never eat here again, and I strongly suggest others think twice before spending their money at this location.

While we were in Daytona Beach for Bike Week, we happened to drive past this spot, and it immediately caught my eye since we were looking for small businesses that sell fried chicken. We turned around, parked, and decided to check it out and I’m so glad we did! The place was clean, and the menu had tons of options. We ordered chicken wings, chicken gizzards, fries, and corn nuggets. Let me tell you OMG, the best chicken gizzards I’ve ever had! They were super tender, and the flavor was amazing. My friends got mozzarella sticks, fish, shrimp, chicken tenders, and onion rings, and we all ended up sharing. Everything was fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this place 100%, and the next time I’m in Daytona, I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s officially a must stop for me!
