We had a delivery from them and it was okay. I got a two meat plate with no sides, the sliced brisket and pork ribs. The brisket was tender but not a lot of flavor, the pork ribs were good. My wife got the shredded pork, tender but lacked flavor.

Went thru the drive-thru for my order. The representative was respectful. That was a plus. I go on to ordered the pull pork bake potato and large fries! Very ecstatic to place my order, was told great things about this place. Made it back home my fries had a burnt smell to it! Major turn off! Guys make sure you check your food before pulling off! The bake potato was not what I expected, after a few bites, butter just started running out of no where! Not sure what that was about but it’s a no for me at this location!

I enjoyed Hungry Farmer’s oxtail dinner w/greens and yams. The order was big enough for two meals and reasonably priced. There’s a really nice indoor patio dining option for those who can’t wait to get home.

I see why the farmer is hungry. Ordered the Farmer’s Supper and it was nothing to write home about. First thing I noticed was the chunky potato salad. The macoroni looked as if it was watered down and I was correct. The sausage was ok. The ham was ok. The one rib tasted as if it was cooked for thanksgiving and not very well. The brisket was mushy. The half chicken was disappointing. It is a shame these animals had to die for this

They have a good selection of food choices. The service makes me feel they do not want certain ethnic groups as customers. I noticed it the first time I went, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes, people have bad days. Went back again, and they did not even wait on us. Big Horn Barbecue has outstanding customer service and a large variety of food choices. I prefer to spend my money in places I’m welcome.

All I can say is this baked potato with link sausage, extra cheese, and sour cream was very very good!! I’m eating and typing. Can’t wait to try some other items. I’m sold on this Potato though. Please forgive my photo. I had to take a few bites.

Not impressed at all. They do not make things from scratch like their website says. Mac and cheese, onion rings, and fries are all frozen. Everything is bland. No salt, no pepper. We tried the shrimp basket, farmers fries, catfish fried and grilled, 3 meat plate, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, onion rings. The fries are little and soggy. The Mac and cheese tastes like kraft from the box. The fish was soft and great. The brisket was smoked with no other seasoning.

All I have to say is if you can pay cash. They charge my card twice at the same time somehow. They gave me all kinds of excuses. They guy who did it claimed he was off. Then he told me the machine was acting up that day but he was off. Then they showed me their records that showed I was charged once. My bank after talking with them assured me that they where paid twice. I waited until everything was out of pending status and it was still showing two charges. They where no help. Just watch them. I hate it cause I do like their food.

Plus side the tea and soda are good. However the rest of the meal was horrible. There was no seasoning in anything. BBQ sauce was placed on the meat. Farmers fries on the menu says you get a choice of meat but I was told the menu is wrong. The plates are cheap plastic cafeteria plates. The fries were so soggy that my son wouldn’t even eat them. They put the wrong sides on our plate. The sides are not made from scratch. We spent over $70 for 4 people and it was not worth it. The kitchen is set up cafeteria style. I guess this is why we are the only one’s here at 9pm.
