Arrived 10-7-25 around 6:30 pm. The restaurant was having Trivia night so the restaurant was busy. We were told that we could sit in the bar area to eat. There was only one other table with people in the bar and they were leaving as we were seated. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came over to take our order. Even the Bartender was about 10 feet away from us and didn’t even ask us if we wanted drinks. She served one beer during the 15 minutes we were there. When we walked out, she started getting on a young server about us walking out because of not being served. Even the woman who sat us didn’t even look up at us as we were leaving. Obviously this place is mismanaged and relies heavily upon the one young server to do all their work.

I only gave an overall rating of four stars on a bias opinion. Good folks doing a great job keeping Rosebud going, for sure. Agatha and Bill brought a special charm and pride to that place that I don’t think can be replaced. The Steaks and seafood was certainly in the top 3 in our town. Kudos for keeping the place open and providing people with great food and kind service!

This was the first time at this restaurant. The food was very tasty. I ordered the chicken basket, I was surprised at how large the chicken tenders were and cooked perfectly, the fries were also good. Nothing against bar food, but it was typical “bar food” it was very good though. Had a pitcher of beer which unfortunately wasn’t very cold to begin with and just got even warmer more quickly due to the fact it was ridiculously hot inside the restaurant. Apparently, the air conditioner was not in working order. It almost made it unbearable to actually enjoy the meal. I’m sure they’ll try to remedy that soon. I will say however the young lady who was our server and the other servers were very friendly, attentive and polite, a big plus for any establishment in my book.
