I don’t think there’s anything I can complain about. The staff is beyond friendly. The food was prepared quickly and came out nice and hot. Looks good. Taste good. Also. If you don’t know how to use chopsticks. The staff will kindly and happily teach. I specifically like the tempura chicken. It’s a very good breading and tender chicken that’s juicy. Just overall a 10/10 experience.

Wonderful food, both the sushi and hibachi are amazing! The staff is so kind as well. They asked if we were celebrating anything and brought out an incredible dessert for a graduation party. Very fresh.

Absolutely excellent. The service was amazing, very fast, and the entire staff was very attentive and took plates/filled drinks right away. I had the shrimp lo-mein and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Anyone who looks at this place should go, totally worth it!

Everything about our experience is beyond 5 stars! The food is absolutely delicious! The staff, i’m not sure where to begin! I have never in my 41 years had service in any restaurant as wonderful as the service here! That speaks volumes! We will be coming back, and recommending to everyone that we know! Such a wonderful experience. Hanakos you are doing everything right, please dont change a thing! P.S the Ninja Fruit Roll is absolutely delicious and displayed so beautifully!

What a pleasure to have such great food and pleasant staff coming into our town to replace the old Mexican restaurant that used to dwell here. This was our first time stopping in for lunch and the food was fantastic. The service was attentive but not overly so as to interrupt conversations. Couldn’t be happier to have them here in our town, and be able to have fresh served hibachi by people who take great pride in how they serve you. The absolute best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to! Very authentic food. It tastes like you’re actually in Japan. Raw and cooked food. The staff is very kind in the drinks are good. Fantastic bento boxes! I had the hibachi chicken and scallops. The absolute best meal I’ve ever had. I thought I could take some home but I couldn’t stop eating it. I also had 2 portions of gioza. Also, the best I’ve ever had. The dumpling casing was soft and steamed. It’s obvious that the food is very fresh. Including the meat and seafood. Order your sushi early because it is fresh.

Went here for the first time on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was packed so I was aware things may take a little longer, but it was absolutely worth the wait! The sushi was amazing, and someone else in my party got curry and that was also very good, but was on the spicer side! We also tried a desert sushi roll which was SO good! Everyone was extremely friendly and our waiter was upfront on how long everything would take since they were busy! Overall great experience

We are visiting family in Conneaut and heard of Hanako that gets raving reviews. After having our lunch today, we understand why. They make delicious sushi rolls, we ordered four rolls and every one of them is delish. A couple of us also got their hibachi sets and all of them are great! The scallops and steak were well cook and perfectly flavored. Our family lives in Seattle and we visited Vancouver BC as well, so we get good sushi a lot, I told one of the staffs that I wish they were in Seattle. All the staffs are very friendly and attentive, they found out my father in law just turned 80 and they made a special yummy dessert roll for him, very thoughtful! We can’t wait to go back and will recommend it to anyone who would like to have a great Japanese meal.

I’m visiting my grandma from out of town and we stopped in because it’s pretty difficult to find a variety of asian food around these parts and Hanako didn’t disappoint! I appreciated that even though it’s a Japanese restaurant it has a southeast asian flair. The menu has a thai curry option and the vietnamese soup pho which this part of Ohio is severely lacking. The food was delicious, well portioned, and reasonably priced. The waitstaff was also very friendly. Please support this business and help bring more diverse food into this corner of Ohio!!
