It’s a take out place.
There’s not much in the area and this is a great option.
The food was great and flavorful. The bread was very tasty.
Inside there are breakfast croissants, to go ice cream, gelato and uncooked pasta to purchase. They also have a decent coffee option!

We just recently found this place. It is fantastic!! The pasta has a great texture and the Bolognese sauce is to die for. We are hooked. I need to branch out as far as my order but I have a hard time because I just LOVE that spaghetti!!

The food and service are excellent at Mimmo. Our family has ordered Pizza several times, Vodka Pasta, Spaghetti and Penne with meat sauce, salads to name a few. All very good. Workers are very friendly. Great location since we live in this area.

Great fresh made foods including Gelato, bread, croissants, pizzas and the amazing lasagna we just had was the best I’ve had in Michigan.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to inform you about whatever you’d like to know.
The prices are all very reasonable and it has made this place my go to for great Italian and fresh made foods.

Second time there, and can’t remember why I haven’t gone more often. The food is fresh, hot and so good. We did a pick up and got gelato as an appetizer. lol. Delicious!! The staff were so friendly. We will be back. Prices are similar to the coney islands and so much better!! 3 meals and feed our family of 4 with leftovers. Go, you won’t be disappointed. And as an Italian, their Lemon Gelato was better than my Grandmas.

My family ordered dinner from Mimmo’s this evening and we were blown away. My parents are new Salem residents and we have been finding all the “must try” restaurants and this was our favorite so far. The vodka sauce was excellent, the noodles tasted very fresh (especially the meat ravioli), the bread was addictive, and the pastries were outstanding (try the sfogliatele!). We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu soon, but this instantly became one of our favorite Italian spots.

I just moved to the area and was excited to see the excellent reviews for this place. Love me some italian food! However, I was severely disappointed. The first couple times, I just ordered pizza and it wasn’t bad, but not the best. Later tried the pasta, and I enjoyed the rigatoni with Italian sausage, but the other items like the spaghetti and lasagna were terrible. The lasagna was way too watery and very salty. I was thinking maybe it was just a bad day.
The fourth and last time I ordered about two weeks later and tried the chicken parmesan pizza. First of all, it was NOT a pizza at all. It’s one piece of encrusted chicken shaped like a pizza, which I thought was really weird! However, that wasn’t the main issue, again, it was super salty beyond belief. Not enjoyable at all. It was so salty I gave it to my dog, and even he would not even eat it. At this juncture, I need to speak to the manager. Called them and spoke to the manager and basically sounded like he didn’t care and told me to “swing by and pick a cannoli” to make it right. Really?? Pacify me with a $2 cannoli after I spent over $50 plus tip! Nah man, I’m done! I truly wanted to like this place and gave them numerous chances, but I can no longer spend money on mediocre food.

First of all wow. The breadsticks alone I knew this would be a solid place. We ordered the San Genaro and the Italian, bread sticks with garlic sauce and arancini. We probably would have been able to split a single sub and be fine, but we wanted to try a little bit of everything. Both subs were fantastic. The bread is so good. I have been waiting for a sandwich place like this with some decent options and I’m grateful to experience it. It was more sub than i anticipated so i was pleasantly surprised. Comes with two sandwiches per order. Perfect to share for lunch or a light dinner. Breadsticks were great and the garlic dip was buttery but cheesy at the same time. Perfect consistency. We will definitely be back.

Knowing we were having a grad party, my wife and I tried a few dinners beforehand. Solid food! We ordered a variety of foods from Mimmo’s for the party and everyone kept asking where the food was from because it was that good. I can’t say that anything was disappointing. Don’t hesitate to go here.

Huge sandwiches that are very good. I haven’t tried their pizza or anything else. But the subs are so good. Try them on the focaccia bread.
