Reviews
The main menu was fantastic, with an incredible amount of choice. If anything, the only downside was being completely spoiled for choice — there were so many dishes we wanted to try that it’s going to take a few visits to get through the menu (not a bad problem to have!).
We ordered a sharing platter along with sushi, duck and beef dishes, ribs, and bao buns, and every single plate was outstanding. The sushi was fresh and full of flavour, the duck and beef were cooked perfectly, the ribs were sticky and tender, and the bao buns were soft, generous, and spot on.
The restaurant has clearly levelled up, with stylish décor, a great atmosphere, and friendly, attentive staff throughout.
Desserts were absolutely banging. While everything was excellent, our favourite was definitely the molten chocolate cake — rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to finish the meal. The Japanese cheesecake was also light, creamy, and delicious.
Overall, a brilliant experience from start to finish. Amazing food, great drinks, excellent service, and a menu that will keep us coming back. Highly recommend.
The yakitori was first class. The Japanese (baked) cheesecake was delicious – not too sweet and with a smooth texture.
Nice choice of mocktails too. £63 for 2 people felt well worth it.
Highly recommended.
The atmosphere was nice, clean and fresh with interesting decor. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived so we were seated and served quickly by friendly staff.
Overall the food was tasty and there were some dishes we hadn’t seen in other places. However not outstanding compared to other Japanese restaurants in Belfast. The portion size was okay for the price, the Tonkotsu Ramen was the best in terms of flavour (the broth was ) although there could have been more pork as they were very thin. The Dragon roll had a good crunch but the sushi rice lacked seasoning so it needed a lot of soy sauce to improve the flavour. We enjoyed the potato tempura and salted chicken wings which were interestingly cut in half so looked smaller than expected.
