We chose The Grill because we wanted to enjoy the dancing and music in the Ritz lounge later in the evening. It was a great choice. The Caesar salad was exceptional even though I usually turn my nose up at unorthodox ingredients added to this classic. There were roasted tomatoes added. I tried one separately and was rewarded with a flavorful and compatible addition to my Caesar. The strip steak and sea bass were excellent.
Most outstanding and surprisingly so were the Truffle Parmesan Fries. I thought, like the truffle infused olive oil on the table for our bread, that it would be much ado about nothing. Nothing could have been further from the truth. This was the most exceptional treatment of what is usually considered a commonplace side dish I have ever enjoyed.
Our server was friendly and efficient. Food was served in a timely fashion and we felt neither rushed nor impatient for the next course. Good timing an important component of fine dining.

My wife and I took our five kids here all dressed up in our Christmas mass outfits for a memorable dining experience. We were not disappointed! We had reservations so we’re seated right away. Once at the table, we had a number of staff come by and make sure we were taken care of. Before we had even ordered our meal, the head chef came up to the table, asked how we were doing and then asked if the children would be interested in taking a tour of the kitchens!
They leaped out of their seats and headed off with her. A little less tan 10 minutes later they returned with chef hats, fresh cookies for after dinner and a small wrapped gift to be opened on Christmas. They talked about what they got to see and how nice the head chef was for the rest of the evening! What a wonderful woman!
We had various meals from the children’s menu, two steak dinners and the braised veal. All were excellent. The parmesan truffle fries were fabulous!

My wife and I love the Grill at the Ritz. On our last visit to celebrate our anniversary, our server went above and beyond to make the evening special for us. Then, the next morning, Josie was again our server for breakfast and took great care of us and even prepared us two to-go coolers so that we could enjoy a picnic in the park.
