Amazing experience! The Chicken Bacon Ranch was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced, savory, and packed with flavor. Asked for brisket & chili. I got dry meat bits w/ weiner schnitzel chili & bbq sauce on it. At no point did i ask for bbq sauce. At no point did i think i was getting nasty canned chili either! I got a cup of their chili last time i was in there & thats NOT what i got asking for brisket & chili. The “birria” was dry shreds of beef. No flavor whatsoever. No broth, no liquid, no spice, nuthin…. just dry shreds of bland beef & onion, cilantro, & sour cream. Giant waste of time & money. No clue what the hype is, for either bland or dog food toppings on a potato… 15 minute wait for trash!

I’ve been under the weather, so we ordered Doordash to try this place for the first time; usually we get messy orders that have are lackluster and cold, but they made our food as if we were dining in.
The portions were so much bigger than we anticipated. We ordered 4 different ones to try, and couldn’t even finish the first two so we even have leftovers. They were pretty darn tasty.
I know, I know, it’s potatoes, of course it good. NOOOO. Their toppings made it!
10/10 will eat here again, and would love to experience in person, rather than order in.

Absolutely amazing experience! I ordered the birria spud, and it was hands down one of the best things I’ve had in a long time. The potato was perfectly cooked and loaded with tender, flavorful birria — every bite was incredible.
Yuri was so nice and attentive. She recommended the birria spud (so glad she did!) and even let me taste their many options of no artificial flavor sodas. Great food, great drinks, and great service. I’ll definitely be back

OMG! The servings are huge! Don’t be put off by the price as I had 3 dinners and my husband had 2 from each pie. LOVE that they have several truly gluten free options. Sorry for the missing food from my Frito Pie…. I was so hungry!

If you’re heading to Hot Potato Pie in Carson City, you have to try their BBQ chicken and steakhouse spuds. The vibe inside is super chill and friendly it’s the kind of place where you just feel welcome the second you walk in.
The food is amazing. The BBQ Chicken spud is loaded with tender meat and tangy sauce, while the Steakhouse spud feels like a full steak dinner piled onto a huge potato. They don’t skimp on the toppings, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth.
The Verdict: Huge portions, yuri did an amazing job and the people who work there are great people, and the best comfort food in town. You’ll definitely leave full and happy!

I’m a delivery driver for one of the food delivery services and I go to many places each day to pick up food orders for people from different merchants/ restaurants.
This is my new favorite stop! Everyone that works there has been kind and helpful, very pleasant. However, even more important, there are two beautiful women that work there. So, now you know why it’s my new favorite place. I saw one of these women at both locations in Carson City and she was as kind and as beautiful at both locations! At the Snyder location, the only reason I purchased a Poltergeist Potato was because I saw something beautiful there earlier in the day when I was delivering. So, because I wanted to see her again, I purchased a potato. Yes, the potato is filling and was pretty darn good, but even better was getting to see “Her”! Anytime that I have picked up to deliver from them, they almost always have the order ready and if they don’t have it ready, they handle it like right now! This place is not so much a sit down and eat place although you can, it’s more of an order to go place. Every person that I deliver too from the location on Snyder in Carson City tells me that they love it. They compare the cost of eating at other places and swear that for the same money after they are done eating, they are stuffed. I did like the potato, yet the view was better.
