We were passing through and needed lunch. With few choices we went with Subway because it’s familiar. The storefront isn’t impressive, but the interior is a fully remodeled store. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food was prepared well. I’d definitely recommend if you’re traveling. One star off on atmosphere because the mens bathroom door doesn’t lock, which can make for awkward interactions.

The subway in Cherokee Alabama is the only place that makes the sandwich my wife likes, the way she likes it. That’s why I get her that sandwich three or four times a week so she can either have it after work or for work. The night shift on weekend crew are great. Day shift not so good.

Staff is friendly until you ask them to change out their gloves for clean ones. Me and my husband are strict vegetarians. And we like eating at Subway because of the veggie options they provide. But when you go to order and the same staff was just super friendly with other customers, become aggitated at me for asking them to change their gloves. I explain to them that we are vegetarians and would like to have clean gloves and a clean knife to cut our sandwiches, because I can physically see a piece of chicken on the gloved hand. Even after explaining and apologizing for having them do extra work they both seemed pissed that I asked at all, and became rude from that moment on. I did not think my request for clean gloves would have that reaction. I mean, they should change them out periodically anyway. I will not return to this Subway because the staff is incompetent, and rude. I love Subway food. This establishment however, I will not be returning to. Giving 2 stars because the food is good. Lost 3 stars because staff is rude.

Every time for the last 5 trips to this subway our sandwiches were never made right. I have clarified each time that it wasn’t made properly and have been ignored each time. This was the last time I will be there and will make the extra 30 minute trip to muscle shoals to get a properly made sandwich. Do not waste your time going to this one if you’re passing through Cherokee Alabama.

The Territory manager of this Subway should be fired they have not been able to accept cards for over 2 weeks and people that run companies and use company cards can’t eat here because they are too lazy to fix their Internet issues to accept cards for payments. They are loosing customers in the small town because the higher up managers will not do his or her job of making sure the place is running properly..

Coupons are no good here. They are breaking the law. Coupons pays for subway club that has 3 meats. This store will only give you 2 meats. Why is it ok to rob people of their money and times worth.
