So, short and sweet , the gyros can seem a little pricy but they give you plenty. The ziki sauce is thick ,very thick and I would prefer more creamy as it covers better. The shish kabob is delicious and the rice it is with is tasty .
I’m not sure if I will go back here , but they do run specials so you never know

Saw the mixed reviews and decided to try for myself. Context: I have eaten at *many* Middle Eastern restaurants. Ordered the gyro and chicken shewarma plate and paid extra for fries. The only good thing is the meat: a generous portion and reasonably well-spiced. The fries and small side salad are meh to ok. The cold, stale pita and rice are a disgrace. Get in the car and drive to Pita House in Greenville instead.

Small strip mall location that is comfortable and clean with delicious Middle Eastern food that is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! The owner is a very outgoing guy who is from the heart of the Middle East and his food reflects the regional style and culture of his country of origin. Milder spices than some folks expect but very indicative of the region again. The absolute best Gyro meat I’ve ever eaten even in the Middle East! Delicious rice pilaf with beans, garbanzos, carrots and peas and a traditional flatbread pita on the side. The tzatziki was very good and very fresh. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern food, there is no need to drive to Greenville! It’s right here in Clemson!

While the owner and chef is very nice the food is very lacking and probably the my least favorite Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant I’ve eaten at . The Gyro plate as well as the Kebab plate was full and hefty, but unfortunately this was mostly soggy rice pilaf with little flavor with a mixture of what was obviously frozen/canned vegetables (frozen carrots, peas, and corn with canned beans). The only reason I’d give a 2 stars instead of 1 (cuisine wise) is that they provide a reasonable 6 pieces of what is known as Kofta (just Kebab at Sam’s) at a reasonable price that had a decent chargrilled flavor, but not much more can be said positively about the food my family had. There was very little seasoning or much flavor anywhere for the main dishes I ordered. The Baba ghanoush was decent and seasoned better than their main dishes but was nothing to write home about. The Taziki as well as much of the actual dishes had little to no salt and traditional flavor that seemed to be meant for the diabetic elderly (if you’re in this camp then this place is for you). Maybe they were just having a bad night but I probably wouldn’t return without them asking me to reconsider. I really wanted to like this place since I recently bought a house in the area and love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food but can’t in good faith recommend.

We are from North Georgia, and our Saturday drive brought us to the area. My sweetheart wanted a gyro, so we looked up “gyro near me,” and the rest is history. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, E ordered the gyro plate, and both exceeded our expectations. When I tell you the food was good, I mean it was so so good. It was the best meal we’ve had out in ages. The owner was so kind and attentive and made us feel right at home. Even though it’s 1.5 hours from us, the next time we have a desire for Greek food, we will be making the drive back. Thats how good it was! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Great new Mediterranean restaurant in Clemson! We went there for lunch and it was excellent. Wraps were huge, with fresh ingredients and overstuffed with well seasoned meat. The french fries, while not exactly a Middle Eastern delicacy, were great and more than enough for the two of us to share. We took home an order of grape leaves and they were excellent as well. Sam and his staff couldn’t have been nicer. Check out Sam’s Gyro & Shish Kabab, you won’t be sorry!

Me and my family definitely recommend this place. Customer service is amazing and food is on point with flavor. The hummus is so creamy and me and my husband always get the beef shish kabob plate. There’s not much to get around here food wise in Clemson/seneca area. Definitely recommend this place.

Service was rather unpleasant however the food wasn’t bad at all. Very tasty falafel & humus. Not a big fan of the babaganos, not the best I’ve had. Pita bread was cold & tough. Would give this place another try however every time i think of the sad pathetic horrible pita bread they serve you here, well it really puts me off. Most of the staff were friendly except the white guy with the long hair who needs to tie it back & learn some manners to boot.

Bland. Hummus had no salt or seasoning and for $7 only came with old cold, stale pita. Salad had no feta. Wraps come with no garlic sauce or tzatziki. You can buy it separately. That we could handle, but the cashier was incredibly rude.

If you are craving Middle-eastern or Greek food, you have found your place. Daily specials, good prices, amazing service. Authentic, fresh, high quality food – do not let the baskets and humble facade fool you. This is a gem right on 93 in Clemson.
