I am so happy this restaurant started serving breakfast on Sundays. The eggs Benedict is so good and you can’t go wrong with really anything that they serve. We also got their spinach artichoke dip for dinner the other night and that was really good too. Everything comes out hot and fresh every time!

The scenery was beautiful and our waiter was friendly, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the fish tacos and they came with a tiny 50 cent piece sized fish. They menu said they had cilantro lime dressing, but there was only plain cream and some brown guacamole-like substance. It was all so sadly bland. The tortillas were cold from a package, not even warmed on the grill! The bulk of it was coleslaw. $15 for packaged coleslaw in a cold tortilla. The kids’ burgers were big, but again we had to ask for things like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, ketchup… standard burger stuff you would think would be included. Nothing felt like a whole meal. Be prepared for JUST Mac and cheese, no sides or flourishes. JUST a burger patty between a bun. We ate at many other much better places in the area.

We had early reservations for Valentine’s Day. We arrived a bit early and was promptly seated, given menus and told someone would be with us shortly. There were three other tables with customers when we sat down. Soon, two other groups were seated, given menus, drinks ordered, and food ordered. Still no service for us. Finally my husband went to the front desk and asked if we could order drinks. Eventually, our waitress came saying she didn’t know we were her table. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and our dinner. 2 of us had crab legs and 2 had prime rib. By this time our neighboring tables that came in after us, had received their food. We waited for drinks, for awhile. My husband ordered a Bush NA, she brought him an Ultra Light. Our appetizer came out with the first crab leg dinner. The other three of us sat waiting. 2 prime rib dinners came out, still waiting on the second crab leg dinner. When it did come out, it was cold, as was the first crab leg dinner that came out. We had to ask our waitress to bring our potatoes. The prime rib, was good. The crab legs had very little flavor and were cold. Bathrooms were not clean. Our bills made no sense. The crab legs were a different price on each of the bills, as were the prime rib diners. It just seemed as though no one had much of a clue as to what was going on. Approximately $215.00 for four dinners, which we really did not enjoy. We will not be back.

Cheese curds were delicious! Bloody Mary was plain with bartender that seemed to have never made one before. No celery salt (bar didn’t even know what it was)? It was only vodka and a bottled mix, which was not flavorful. It had a pickle! Don’t go for Bloody Mary’s, but if you want curds they are Delicious!

Went last night for my birthday & left very disappointed. I was the last person at the table to receive my food(yes, the waitress knew we were there for my birthday), for 10 minutes I sat there and watched everyone else eat. She finally brought my crab legs out & they were sickly looking. The joints of the legs were black and soft, they were barely Luke warm & they couldn’t even be bothered to wash the yucky little parasitic eggs off before they cooked them. Never once did I get asked if I needed anything, how the food was, nothing. I was very excited to come here, but for the premium price we paid for the food and the subpar service we received, we won’t be back. Save your money and just go buy some crab legs from Walmart and steam em up, I sure wish I would’ve!

This is a little gem I found yesterday! The bartender/waitress was just a wonderful spirit that made it even more memorable. Food is great! Appetizers are fresh and awesome. My mom loved their lobster bisque. The fresh pretzel, cheese curds, onion rings… mmm mmm mmm! I also enjoyed my virgin Bloody Mary and my son their apple cider juice.

I can’t wait to go back for another experience more focused on the rest of the menu.

We had a group of approximately 20 in Ashland for hockey college game. The staff was welcoming and super friendly! Wish I would’ve caught their names but they were amazing. Food and drinks were good. Beautiful ambiance with the bar overlooking golf course. Outstanding service! Great Bloody Mary!

Our 2nd time visiting at this place and just like the first time, it did not fail us. You will be greeted with a smile the moment you entered. Social distancing is not a problem, this place is very spaceous. A little more workout on the bar side for drink options but the food are amazing! My favorite cheese curds being served now. Will be coming back again soon.

The place was mostly empty and we had to wait 40 min for it drinks. When we asked if someone could help us we were told, “I don’t know who is supposed to have that section, but it isn’t me.”. Usually this is a good place to go, but this time was very very disappointing

Update: so we have come back s few times since the original post. Mostly, experiences have been good. But tonight, we hit a new low sadly.

Ordered the 10 oz sirloin, asked for it to be rare. I’m attaching a pic of it, but at best, this is medium well. And, this was their second attempt and the manager said “we are not doing it again because we don’t know how to cook it that way.”. Really?!

If you go here, order the cheese curds, the swedish meatballs, or wait for the prime rib special. Don’t get the steak unless you like hockey puck cooking.

We stopped in to have lunch on our way to Hurley, and we had never been to the local before. When we drove up, we found that it was on a golf course. We walked in, and there was no hostess, but the girl behind the bar told us to sit anywhere. There was a wait before we were able to order and we found out that the bartender was having to cover both, but we each ordered a bloody mary, and I had the Philly sandwich and onion rings my wife had the alfredo. The drinks came, and I have to say that it was in the top 3 worst Bloody Mary’s I have ever had. Just plain tomato juice and vodka. Needless to say, we didn’t have high expectations for the food. Our order came out, and I was pleasantly surprised. My sandwich was huge, and the onion rings were really good. My wife raved about the alfredo sauce and still says that it was the best she has tasted. The atmosphere was kind of lacking. It had that we just opened kind of feel like they tossed some booths against the wall and set up some tables.
