⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Italian Hidden Gem: Warmth, History, and Incredible Homemade Pasta!
My recent visit to Carmella’s was one of those perfect dining experiences you’ll be telling your friends about. On a cold, snowy night, stepping inside felt like walking into a warm hug—the beautiful Christmas decorations and cozy atmosphere instantly set a wonderful, familial mood.
From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and the bartender/server, who personally allowed us to choose our own table. Our drinks arrived almost instantly, a great start to the evening.
The food was truly exceptional. We started with two rich and flavorful soups: the Veggie-Beans-Garlic Soup (perfectly balanced, with the garlic enhancing rather than overwhelming the flavor) and the Lobster Bisque Soup. Both were incredibly rich and deeply satisfying—a perfect start to beat the winter chill.
For the main course, we couldn’t resist the star of the show: the homemade pasta. We each ordered a different kind of stuffed pasta with sausage (I wish I could remember the exact names! ), but what I can say is that both dishes were tender, soft, well-cooked, and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were absolutely perfect—just enough to feel satisfied but still leave a little room for dessert.
And speaking of dessert… the Tiramisu with extra whipped cream was the ideal grand finale!
The service throughout the evening was the heart of the experience. The owner, who is also the chef, gave a personal touch, while the waiter (it was only his third time working there!) was genuinely warm, polite, and welcoming. The waitress was engaging, funny, and wonderfully forward. This beautiful combination of staff truly gives this 20+ year-old establishment its authentic, family-run atmosphere.
It’s hard to believe the incredibly fair prices for this level of quality and service! If you are a pasta lover, or just appreciate a restaurant that pours its heart into everything it does, Carmella’s is totally worth a try. I’m already planning my next visit.

My husband and I just had a small wedding here. The staff is absolutely amazing, they make you feel like family and we’re so thoughtful and accommodating, it is something we will remember the rest of our lives. It really made our day special. They added extra decorations and such and were so easy to work with. They made what is usually a very stressful day, easy and perfect. The food was DELICIOUS! A lot of our guests went up for seconds, and they also came up to us saying it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding. We can’t wait to come back for dinner. Highly recommended! Went here for hubby’s birthday. As were early just when they opened we had to wait for the buffet but it wasn’t long. The waitress was very nice and also the gentleman helping her. The food was delicious and so was my drink. It was just so relaxing. The service was great.

Really great Italian restaurant. They do a family style dinner on Fridays which includes salad, antipasto platter, 6 different dishes and a desert tray. We went with a group of 8 and all of us ate very well and we had plenty of food left over to bring home. Also the bread they serve is amazing. Angelo does a fantastic job. All of this cost us 23.99 per person which is just unbelievable.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! We came in for a graduation party and everything was fantastic. We did a family style of service and were taken care of with a huge assortment of delicious food courses and there was truly something for everyone. Everyone left full and happy and had plenty of leftovers to enjoy for the next day! I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for an amazing dining experience and such an amazing cost!

Nice old-school Italian restaurant. They had Dean Martin playing on the speakers, the food came out at a good pace, and overall it was tasty. The Caesar salad is really good— the dressing is clearly homemade and has a nice brightness from the lemon. Overall, a good stop on our road trip
