Funky option for classic Mexican eats with beer & margaritas set in a colorful house.

The menu doesn’t have prices so you have to guess what your food cost is. That immediately made me not trust this place and I should have left them. Instead I pushed through. The margaritas were a joke. $8 for a nonalcoholic margarita in a 12 oz plastic cup that was “blended” but you can’t finish it cause it’s just ice. Overall, I paid $70 for a bad experience. The guacamole was good but overpriced. I will not be coming back. If you like margaritas chose somewhere else to go because these are disappointing.

We stopped at Don Cinco to take a break from driving the interstate—and to be fair, the food was genuinely very good.
However, I had a few issues with their business practices:
Strike one: They attempted to charge a debit card fee, which is not permitted under Wisconsin state law or Visa’s policies.
Strike two: The waiter suddenly pretended not to speak English and tried to take advantage of the fact that I didn’t have my reading glasses. Despite paying in cash, he still tried to sneak in the debit card surcharge.
Strike three: They automatically added a gratuity for our group of four adults and two children, which seemed excessive and wasn’t disclosed up front.
While I can’t deny the food was great, the way they conduct business left a bad taste in my mouth.

This was a nice little Mexican spot on our drive. It was very empty when we got there. For a week day. But the food was really good. Pretty tasty stuffed pepper, arroz con pollo was amazing. They don’t really brew coffee, which we thought was really funny when my husband asked for a cup of it. He got 2 little cups with instant coffee and creamer to be added to a hot water cup. So just in case you ask for coffee, that’s what you’ll get. Their chips and salsa were good. The hubby had a steak quesadilla, and he really liked it. Overall, the food was great and the service was good.

We stopped here on our way back from Minneapolis to Milwaukee for a bite to eat on a Friday evening. The food was definitely better than any of the fast food available nearby – the fajitas lacked some flavor, but was still good, and we enjoyed the burrito a lot. No issues with service. Staff was attentive and service was very quick, so it’s a great place to eat when you’re traveling and need a pit stop.

The food is excellent and plentiful. Tastes homemade. The guacamole for example was s large bowl with chunky avocados. We had enchiladas, a chili relleno, and tortilla soup.

Fast service, very cute decor, and okay food. My margaritas were literally straight up mix. No ice or anything, like they chilled the mix and poured it into my glass. And my shrimp was not deveined and someone with me got fajitas, never got shells

This is fantastic Mexican food. Some of the best I’ve had in the entire country. The guacamole was really chunky, but the best menu item was the carnita enchiladas. Service was great and ambience was colorful. My only critique of the entire experience would be to have coarser salt for the guacamole.

Food was hot and delicious! DoorDash got it to me super quick. I didn’t receive my guacamole though.

I can’t review service or atmosphere, as we ordered to-go but our food was delicious and reasonably priced. We got enchiladas and it was a large portion, enough for 2 meals. They weren’t soggy – just the right amount of sauce.

We celebrated my sons golden birthday here today. The menu didn’t have prices listed, so you have to scan a QR code using your phone that takes you the website for a price listing. I spent significantly more than I was anticipating for our group. It averaged out to about $25 per person for entree, non-alcoholic beverage, tax & gratuity. The waiter was kind enough to take our photo. The food was good quality, and portion sizes were adequate. Would be more likely to visit for lunch pricing in the future.
