Salt & Fries has brought their fast serving savory burgers and crispy fries up to Rogers Park. This will be their second location and opened for just under 4 months. I got to try their double burger and signature salt fries. The beef patties were seared to a nice crisp and had great savory flavor. The cheese fries loaded pepper added a mild kick to the ensemble. I absolutely love the pale pink dining space. Would recommend Salt & Fries to anyone around campus for a quick burger to go.

This place has gone downhill so much. When Salt first opened, the prices were fair and the food actually felt worth it, but now it’s the same tiny portions for way more money, and the burgers and fries never fill you up. They also stopped doing any promos or coupons — they used to accept DoorDash discounts and DashPass deals, and now none of that works. If you’re going to raise prices, at least offer customers something back. On top of that, the quality has dropped a lot; sometimes the meat is overcooked and other times it’s insanely salty, like they took the name “Salt” way too literally. Overall it’s just not worth it anymore: small portions, higher prices, no deals, and inconsistent quality.

Salt is the best Burger joint in Roger’s Park. As a certified foodie trust me I know. Salt’s burgers better than an In-an-Out burger and so juicy and affordable too. I love the banana peppers so much and the beef is seasoned and cooked really good . Thank you Sean and his team for the consistent excellence service you provide it doesn’t go unnoticed and is very much appreciated. Salt in Rogers Park you get my award for best burgers.

Canceled an order with them (placed at wrong location) and they told Uber support at the time that they had not started my order yet and will cancel the order. But on the Uber app the store told Uber they had started the order and will not refund me. So sad to take money from someone who loves Salt Burger’s food and wanted to order from the location closer to myself.

Salt and burgers is the best place. Me and my family stopped here for lunch and it was amazing. Their food is fresh which is why you have to wait a little but it’s worth it. You can custom your food by how much spice level you want and since I am a spice lover I loved their Fuego fries and burgers. The employees are respectful and wonderful. Their atmosphere is comfy and brings freshness. Definitely a hit place to take your family out.
