J&y sushi aka j&y the baaaaaa . Best sushi place around. If you say you can find better sushi you’re lying and trying too hard. This is my go to sushi spot for 10+ years. If you think I’m lying go in and check out the awards on the wall. Numbers don’t lie.

The restaurant is a bit small, parking can be a challenge, and I have not had the friendliest experiences with the wait staff, HOWEVER, their sushi is SPECTACULAR!!! It has ruined me from enjoying most other places using inferior fish and tiny little pieces of it. Pictured on top is the Janet’s Roll (without sauce) and below is the Fuji Roll (also without sauce). My absolutely FAVORITE sushi place. I come here every once in a while, since I don’t live close by, but every time it’s so worth it!! Casual dinner with great sushi! I ordered the sushi deluxe and was very satisfied with the quantity. The soup and salad were also good. The service was very attentive and polite. Great experience!

Excellent place for sushi! Quality of sushi is excellent and so is the price. I believe no roll was over $12 and everything was done with care. The rolls were very fresh and had the perfect amount of rice.
Service was incredible! The waitress couldn’t have been nicer! Super attentive but not annoyingly so. Food was served quickly and the waitress even brought out an extra roll (and dessert) for us on the house.
For the quality & service alone, this is the best place to go in MD. The affordable pricing is just the icing on the cake.

Would always pass this spot and tell myself to check it out. I did. Was not disappointed, to say the least. It is not a large eat-in restaurant, and the coziness just adds to the order in which how everything is done without the rush is a plus to me. My order consisted of a tuna roll & tempura shrimp and enjoyed the freshness from beginning to end. Will return in the future.
