Absolutely Delicious! A Must-Try for Seafood Lovers!
The Catch on Memorial Road is hands-down one of the best seafood spots in OKC! From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming and the atmosphere has that perfect laid-back coastal vibe.
The food? Incredible. Everything is fresh, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right.
I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo with fries and hush puppies—every bite was full of flavor and perfectly crispy. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. Their signature sauces add the perfect kick, and you can tell they take pride in their seasoning and prep.
Whether you’re craving a fried seafood basket or a spicy Cajun-style plate, The Catch delivers. It’s a local gem and definitely worth the visit!
The fish was seasoned well. The sides were good. The banana pudding was just ok. First time experiencing this place and definitely will be back.
I thought I’d return to try the crab cakes, but no thanks. It’s not allowing me to share my pic☹️
Fast and friendly service. Good food. The booths were very comfortable.
I would like a tad more flavor with the catfish, but would not hesitate to order it again. The tartar sauce was the right amount of zesty and tangy. It’s also self serve which is a nice bonus.
The employees were all very friendly and nice, the man in the front really was eager to get smiles.
We will come back.
My entree was so lightweight that I opened the container at the counter. Immediate disappointment . Such lack luster presentation, minimum quantity. There was so much moisture inside the container that the toast was soggy. I ordered pasta with grilled fish.
I decided to take my order just as it was. No complaints expressed to Nate the manager. They already had my money ..and I wasn’t interested in them remaking the order.
I decided that for $15… I should have a better entree.
I also decided I would not return.
We placed a simple delivery order for two meals totaling nearly $50. When the food arrived, we discovered—yet again—the order was wrong. This time, it wasn’t a missing item or a minor mix-up; it was someone else’s order entirely.
I called the restaurant to explain the situation. The clerk told me it wasn’t their fault and that there was nothing they could do. When I asked how we could resolve it, she said I’d need to place a new order online and pay again. I explained that this would mean spending $100 for one meal, which I wasn’t willing to do. Her response was dismissive and rude. When I tried to offer a solution, she raised her voice and spoke over me, clearly uninterested in resolving the issue. When she finally allowed me to speak, I suggested they remake the order and allow me to pick it up. She agreed and ended the call.
When I arrived to collect the corrected order, I asked to speak with the manager. The clerk pointed to a woman nearby and said, “That’s her.” I approached and asked if she had a moment. She acknowledged the wrong order had been delivered but seemed entirely unconcerned about how the situation had been handled. She said, “What do you want? A free pie?” I calmly explained that I wasn’t seeking a refund or free food—I simply wanted her to be aware of the poor customer service. She smirked, continued working, and made no effort to engage meaningfully.
As I left, I glanced back through the window and saw the manager laughing with another employee. It felt like my frustration had become their entertainment.
I’m not just disappointed that The Catch struggles to fulfill orders correctly—I’m disheartened by the lack of accountability and basic courtesy. A simple “I’m sorry” would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with indifference and mockery. The Catch, you owe your customers better.
