We had dinner the day before Valentine’s Day and everything was delicious. It took a few minutes for our eyes to adjust when we went inside but once they did it was a very cool vibe. We had 4 apps- prime sushi, carpaccio, the duo and the hot rock beef. All were great but the carpaccio needed a little something. For our entrees we had the braised short ribs and the pork belly both were perfect. We also had the molten cake but I would skip that next time. The service was wonderful and we enjoyed our drinks as well my husband recommends the prime old fashioned although he said the regular old fashioned was good too.i enjoyed the Duckhorn Cabernet. Give this place a try you won’t be sorry! Ps it’s in a strip mall but you won’t know that once you’re inside.

This restaurant was amazing! The food was exquisite and the service was great! For an appetizer we had the wild mushroom bruschetta. For the entree, I had the shrimp Costa Azul and my man had the ribeye steak. And since we were celebrating our anniversary, they gave us a beautiful dessert. A molten chocolate cake…So light and delicious but full flavor.

Overall our experience was good. It wasn’t an average dining experience, but we also don’t feel it was an incredible 5 star experience worth almost $200.
The ambience is dark, date night vibes which we liked. You’re seated with an open kitchen in the entrance area. We had a really good mushroom pesto bruschetta, and for our entrees, the pork belly and short rib ravioli. When we arrived we overheard a bartender sharing with another customer that the fettuccine was a small order, so I didn’t get either; however, the $30 ravioli came with 3 very al dente ravioli. My husband had 3 large pork belly pieces with potatoes. Personally, I didn’t like the ravioli and felt the balsamic was too acidic for the dish. The pork belly was great, but wasn’t incredible.
My husband and I were celebrating 2 years of marriage and left a note about that on our reservation. We received a complimentary raspberry brownie? I didn’t see a dessert menu, but I think the brownie may have been overdone or there was a flavor I didn’t recognize. It desperately needed a good scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Service wasn’t special either.

My wife and I spent New Years at this restaurant and wanted to share our experience. The restaurant overall is a bit quirky being situated in a strip mall plus having to walk past the kitchen to get to our table. That said, I like quirky but my wife, not so much. When we entered the restaurant, we found ourselves in the bar area. We were greeted by whom I believe was the bartender or host or both. Although she handed us each a glass of champagne, the feeling of being welcomed ended there. At our table, she seemed to be trying to get us to order water even though we normally don’t. When we told her we would be ordering soda, she walked over to a waitress and said something and pointed to us. My wife felt as if we were being talked about which made us feel uncomfortable. From that point, the service was good but we felt the wait staff could have used a bit more etiquette as they reached in front of each of us and touched the table quite a bit. The food was very good but the portion sizes might be considered small by some. The pork belly and stuffed shrimp were very good but I’m not sure they were 30 to 40 dollars per entree good. On this visit, I believe we ended up being judged as customers based on the fact that we set the bar low for them by ordering pop with our meal and with it being NYE, we were dressed a bit more casually than some of the other guests. Never judge a book by its cover. Oh, and maybe find a new hostess.

Quiet dinner at the bar, with a bartender who suggested drinks and food, including a few things that weren’t on the menu but were absolutely incredible. The Mexican Old Fashioned was good, and he even dug up a bottle of absinthe on request to make a sazarac! The wedge salad was incredible, and the scallops I had as the main were perfectly cooked. All around good experience, I will definitely be back!

Cannot recommend this experience enough. I have eaten in fine dining restaurants in Vegas, NY, etc. and JT Prime could compete in any of those markets.
I’m pregnant and was kindly offered a Virgin Mai Tai Mocktail upon arrival. It was sweet, pretty, and delicious!
We started with the smoked waygu beef meatballs and they were flavorful and delicious. The pomodoro sauce made the dish. We also had the Caesar salad. I’ve heard such good things and the peppery salad delivered!
My husband had the Ribeye medium rare and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I had the Shrimp Costa Azul which is shrimp stuffed with crab, wrapped in bacon, and drizzled with a lemon cream sauce. It was filling and so freaking good. The veggies served with it were also top notch.
Lastly for dessert we had the molten chocolate cake. Far from the cliche dessert you find in chain restaurants, this cake had the perfect ratio of ganache to cake and had the most delicious berry sauce to cut through the richness.
The whole staff was extremely attentive and kind. I loved being able to see the kitchen and will request the high top next to the prep area upon our next visit. The kitchen staff was seriously hustling and it was awesome to watch them work (with obvious passion).
Overall, an excellent experience. Well worth the price tag. Can’t wait to go back!

I was passing by Yuma and decided to try this place out. Not much to look at outside, but once you enter, its a great atmosphere for a date night. I had the NY steak, even though I really wanted the ribeye that all the reviews are talking about, they did not have it available because they just opened for the night and they were not ready to cook it. The NY steak was still excellent though. What ever toppings they had on the steak and mashed potatoes really adds to the taste. The service was excellent, the waitresses were cute, attentive, and assist you with a smile. Next time your in Yuma, you should give this place a try.
