The BLT sandwich is the best in the area! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the place is cozy and quiet. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be coming back many times.

$15 for a hero and the cutlet was cut up and placed on bread like a puzzle , my guess is this was more “cost effective” then giving me an entire cutlet? I’ve lived in NY my whole life and been to hundreds of delis and never seen this done for a sandwich… the 2 slices of bacon were so fatty I removed them so I could actually chew and swallow the food. they are cheap with the sandwich ingredients and high in price.

The service was terrible, I waited over 20 minutes to be helped and was ignored twice when I was directly in front of the register. They even let people pay first when I was clearly ahead of them. I genuinely like the deli as it’s convenient from my job but I felt disrespected. I expected better!

We used them for catering a lunch of about 60 people. All the food was fantastic. Hi quality and delicious. It was ready at the time that we requested and their staff helped us load everything in the car and were so nice! We will definitely be referring others to use them.

I have been disappointed with Sauro’s a lot lately. Prices are up and the quality is down. I’ve had 3 sandwiches over the last two months where the bread has not been fully cooked. Also, if I’m paying $9 for a sandwich, I expect there to be enough meat to cover the bread.
I can’t say enough nice things about the staff, but the quality has diminished a lot over the last year! Management needs to up their game and maybe I’ll be back.

We had a work lunch and asked if there was a way we could order sandwiches with salad sides. Armando was so professional and accommodating! Everyone ordered their own specialized sandwich with a choice of side salad and each one was labeled with their name. This was an order of 27 sandwiches! The food was delicious (especially the eggplant wrap with sweet peppers)! The organization was great too! We will be planning another lunch pickup again!

I usually don’t leave reviews for anything but I have to here. We’ve been going to Sauro’s for years for sandwiches. Steve and Lenny took my catering order for 70 people with a little less than ideal notice. We had the party last night and it couldn’t have gone better. The ordering and picking up process went very smooth. I got multiple compliments on the quality of the food. Thanks again to the entire staff at Sauro’s for a tremendous job

Great Service and Great Food!!!
Ordered catering for a family party. We ordered sausage and peppers and chicken parm that everyone enjoyed and took leftovers to go..They also were able to accomadate our picky eaters with blending all the chunks together in the penne vodka!! We also ordered some amazing italian combo and chicken cutlet special sandwhiches! Everyone at the party complimented the food and asked where it was from, will definitely be ordering from Sauros again!

Fresh and crispy rolls. Cold cuts sliced perfectly. Delicious slaw. Nice prepared garden salads. Prices are very reasonable. Call ahead and your order will be ready when you arrive. Staff and service go above and beyond. Also a freezer with ravioli and other prepared pastas. Yum

I asked how much a sandwich was when I ordered it, when it got to the counter it was more expensive. Cashier refused to change the price.
