From the moment I walked into Capricho’s on Busch Boulevard, I felt something rare genuine warmth. In a commercial area where many places feel rushed and transactional, this restaurant stands out in the most beautiful way. It doesn’t feel like a business trying to serve customers, it feels like people sincerely welcoming you in.
I ordered the vegetarian omelette, and it was absolutely delicious fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. You can truly taste the care and attention in every bite. It wasn’t just food; it felt thoughtfully prepared.
What made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. They are incredibly kind, polite, patient, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality feels natural, not forced the kind that makes you feel valued and comfortable. In today’s world, that kind of sincerity is rare.
The atmosphere carries such positive, calming vibes. There’s a sense of humility and love in the way they treat people. It honestly felt like more than just dining out it felt like being taken care of.
This was a truly humbling experience and absolutely worth every dollar spent. I would highly recommend Capricho’s to anyone looking not just for good food, but for a place that serves it with heart.

I was feeling hungry for breakfast and saw this place was near by me. I went and it was relaxing and very friendly. Everyone that I saw come in were treated very kindly and like friends. The guy that took my order, inform of the prices and helped me pick a delicious fresh mango drink(I love it). The omelette was well balanced with all the ingredients and it was so fluffy. The potatoes on the side are the best I’ve had in a while, at first I though it was too season but since the pieces are chunks, it balance itself out. I highly recommend this place, I enjoyed the experience.

We walked into this small, woman-owned business and were greeted by Hiedy, and her father, with warmth. She is meticulous and kind, checking in with us multiple times to see if we needed anything.
The food was delicious. We had the Shine, the Mangu con los tres golpes, the double stuffed potatoes, and the cafe con leche. The dishes were hot and flavorful. Highly recommended, we will be back, Customer service is top notch.
The restaurant is in Ambassador Square, do set your GPS to this strip mall – otherwise you may miss your turn.

I happened to be in the area and was just looking for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. I saw this place had 5 stars on Google but didn’t really look at anything past that. When I walked in, I was greeted by a wonderful lady and found out this was a domincan family owned restaurant. I love trying new foods and let her order for me. Her father made me the most delicious, authentic Dominican breakfast and coffee. I was so happy I found this place and highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area! I love family restaurants, and I also met her father as well. What a gem of a place!

I’d never fail to visit Capricho’s Deli when I visit this small plaza on Busch Ave. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Busch Gardens area. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! I have to say… I really enjoyed every single bite of the meal at Capricho’s Deli. I had asopao with rice on this visit, and considering the quality of this delicious meal, the price is reasonable. Also, Heidy is great and always efficient, happy, and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat amazing food near the Busch Gardens area. 5 of 5 for this little piece of heaven on Earth!
