Whitney’s Deli in Westhampton Beach is hands-down one of my favorite spots to grab a bite! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and cheerful, with that classic deli charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly, efficient, and genuinely care about making your experience a great one.
The food here is absolutely outstanding. The sandwiches are piled high with fresh ingredients, the meats are perfectly sliced, and the bread is always soft yet hearty. I especially love their specialty sandwiches—they’re creative, flavorful, and generously portioned. The sides, like their chips and salads, are fresh and complement the main dishes perfectly. Everything tastes homemade and crafted with care, which is rare to find these days.

I love bring my grandson there my last experience was not a good one I ordered sliced deli to make sandwiches outside at the picnic area after taking my order the young lady waiting on me proceeded to take every order that was placed after me and fulfill there orders before mine I’m watching ppl come and go and even check in on my order and am told that it’s being worked on 40 mins go by still no delii I only ordered 2 things what’s is going there I had to leave w nothing except a disappointed grandson no picnic

Nostalgia… I haven’t been back to Whitney’s Deli since 2001 since graduating high school there. Always enjoyed the lighthearted conversations with everyone there. Everyone always had a friendly smile. I especially loved and remember this homemade creamy pasta salad with sundried tomatoes. I wonder if they are still making it? Delicious. Highly recommend this deli, even after all these years. Wishing you -John, the fam and everyone well! Hope to make it back in one day!

Just go to Country Heroes down the road. Better and more food for much less. I was gunna give the food two stars but I changed it to one because it’s already not sitting right. You don’t even get a side salad. I paid $18 for microwaved chicken cutlets on a stale roll. It was half packed up by some older gent and most of the sandwich fell apart in the bag. If you like playing with LEGO’s then this is the place for you since you can have fun putting your sandwich back together when you go to eat it. Anything in Westhampton is going to be pricey no matter what but there are much better places in the area that give you more bang for your buck.

Where do i begin, 1st place is clean and well organized, staff is pleasant, food is great stopped in with the wife picked up potato salad,macaroni salad and cole slaw all three were as fresh and well they were delicious.

With several delis to pick from in immediate vicinity, I will continue to choose Whitney’s. Their staff is far friendlier than another deli just a few blocks away, and the food never misses. I’m glad to have found Whitney’s and will continue to be a customer!

Went in for breakfast while my wife was at the Dr. Was greeted by a very nice guy behind the counter. Not sure if he is the owner, manager, or just an employee but he was super friendly. I am huge stickler for service. Smiled, suggested add-ons, asked how my day was. Great customer service. I was in the food industry a long time as an operations manager and this deli has it going good for themselves
The food was also very good. The case looked clean and well stocked. Good looking sandwiches and lunch options. The price is a bit high but that’s the direction food is going on long island. He is comparably priced to other local delis but in my opinion far surpasses them with great service and good food. I will definitely be going back.

I am changing my review because this place has become ridiculous with its prices. Last time i went there they told me things are even more expensive now due to “the rise of egg prices”… I dont know how they have the audacity to say that when they already overcharge. A $11 bacon egg and cheese is insane. I could get one for $5-6 at Country heros down the road. And thats what i plan to do from now on.

I love this place! Great breakfast sandwiches, great coffee, great selection. The staff is always super friendly and really quick with preparation. One time I was waiting and the owner came out just to say hi. Always fresh lunch platters made to perfection! It’s in an awesome location as well.

I love Whitney’s food. It is always fresh, and the store is always clean – two things that are a “must have.” I really enjoy the variety, and how they always have new things to try. As a bonus, the staff is nice and helpful. You can’t go wrong.
