To my folks with nut allergies don’t EVER come here! I took a look behind the counter from where you pick up your smoothie, they place the nut blenders DIRECTLY next to the nut free blenders, the old management had previously reassured me that they are placed separately but this new management simply does not care about your health!! There are also a million flies when you walk in and they will SWARM you for your entire visit. When the Indian employee takes your order it will make you not want anymore because of the insanely HORRIBLE ODOR. This used to be one of my favorite snack spots and it has been completely RUINED by these new employees!

I usually frequent this location because it’s the closest between home and work. After my last trip here I probably wont return. I ordered a smoothie and quesadilla but this time my quesadilla had a hair baked in it. I called into the store to receive a refund or some kind of compensation. The associate who answered said the manager would do a refund. After a few days, I never received it so I gave the store a call again. This time the MOD asked for my information and said the GM would get back to me. No problem, waited a few more days. Now Im a week or so in still waiting for a response. I guess no response is the response in this situation. Also, I agree with another reviewer saying that no one smiles or even greets you when coming in even if it’s for a pick up order.

Went to order food here at 8:37pm on a Friday. Restaurant said they were closed even though it closed at 9pm. Pointed it out to the guy working and he had some BS remark.
Go to Jersey Mikes instead…they will happily serve you right up until closing.

Waited in line for 15 minutes to receive service, was never acknowledged while staff worked on other orders. Three people left in the time I waited. Ordered three smoothies and presented one coupon for a free smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, was told “no. Don’t accept.” Was a waste of time for terrible service.

For your own good, do not come here. They are VERY unsanitary and unprofessional. I came here a few days ago and I witnessed the Indian guy take a customers cash and then didn’t wash his hands or put on gloves before making their food. I also witnessed him refilling the liquids in the smoothie area directly into the container from a bottle, meaning the smoothies you drink could have MONTHS old ingredients. He was also VERY unhelpful and could not provide ANY recommendations for my son. Although his service was horrible, the teenage boy working with him was polite and gave us recommendations. Still does not make up for the unacceptable unsanitary practices.

Edit: this is absolutely the worst tropical smoothie cafe location! They messed up my order by not giving me the extra i paid for and gave me a coupon for a free smoothie. I went back to redeem and they were refusing to give it to me. I had to fight with the indian guy there because it specificly said their location address and everything. Never coming back here again
Edit: I sent a message through the website provided and no one ever responded after a week of waiting. It’s disgusting that they charge you extra to add something but can’t provide what you paid more for.
I placed my order on the app to pick up in store. I ordered the Nutella acai bowl which is more expensive than the regular acai bowl. They completely forgot to add the Nutella! Why ask for extra money if you won’t bother with adding the item you’re charging more for! I tried calling them 4 or 5 times because I found out after I went home and they dont answer their phones (they were still open for another hour). Also the woman working their was extraordinary rude and got mad because my mom was missing something from her order. I’m absolutely disgusted with this location.

I’m only reviewing the service, as we didn’t dine in, just ordered two smoothies to go. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting nearly 50 minutes for those two smoothies. While the drinks were okay, the overall experience was frustrating.
The two women behind the counter appeared busy, but there was no sense of urgency or customer care. When we inquired about the long wait, we were met with snarky, sarcastic comments rather than an apology or explanation. At one point, a customer mentioned a soccer game, which prompted one of the employees to loudly and mockingly say, “Soccer game, of course, of course”, completely unprofessional and unnecessary.
I understand that restaurants and cafes can get overwhelmed, especially during busy times, but a little courtesy and communication go a long way. A simple acknowledgment of the delay or a sincere apology would have made a huge difference. Instead, we watched one man leave without his paid drink after waiting 30 minutes because he simply couldn’t wait any longer.
I hope management addresses this issue especially when the wait is this long for a simple to-go order.

Came in store to place an order. As the employee is working on my order, he gets a phone call from someone in a hurry wanting to make an order. Then proceeds to tell me that he’s going to make the order for the person on the phone because he’s in a hurry then will finish up my order.
The customer on the phone can wait I am literally in your store and already ordered and have been waiting 5 minutes.
Worst part, the person on the phone didn’t even come in before the employee got back to my order and before I left.
