We booked the upstairs room, and it has absolutely everything you need for your next event. There’s lots of space (it can accommodate about 100 people) and plenty of entertainment—two pool tables, wall ring toss, Jenga, a foosball table, a small baseball area for little kids, darts, board games, and more. There was something for everyone.
Needless to say, Mr. G’s pizza is amazing! They offer so many varieties and were able to accommodate all of our participants, including those with dietary restrictions. We all truly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service—Mr. G’s team did an amazing job. They rock!
So boom, before I talk about the food let’s talk about the customer service….baby the poor waiter was struggling. It took someone 5 mins to even greet us… then another 2 for seating.
Now granted, we did come 30 mins before closing, which we were unaware of, especially being first time customers, but still customer service should be consistent throughout the day.
Then, once seated it took him about 15 mins to come back and take our order after he told us to get our order in quick before the kitchen closes, so that was ironic.
Then, once we noticed our food was on the table…I asked him for ranch and he didn’t come back until someone else had to get him.
So to sum it up, it wasn’t their best day when it came to customer service.
Now, the food…let me just say for the first time ever; I wished I was eating Little Caesars pizza, which my family knows is my least favorite pizza. But let’s just say Mr. G’s pepperoni pizza is now my least favorite pizza.
Now, I would be willing to try them out again after researching their menu and socials if available to see which menu items are popular.
All in all, I give Mr. G’s pepperoni pizza a 4 out of 10 rating. The flavor just wasn’t it for me and the ranch also wasn’t a taste I was familiar with.
Now, on to the reason why I gave them 3 stars, well that’s because they had a haunted house on the second floor and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it. So I’m very appreciative of them for doing that. And when I thought we were going to have to pay; the waitress who told us about it said she would take it out of her tip and I thought that was a very beautiful show of kindness towards customers. She went the extra mile, but I’m glad it was free of charge.
I hope that I can try them in the future and give them a better rating.
I am a pizza freak so I ordered the veggie specialty slice and my husband (being Italian himself) went for the Italian sub.
Slices are huge! It was loaded with my selected toppings and the crust was perfectly crispy. The sub had your typical Italian meats and cheeses but the bread was light, fluffy and toasted, and made the sub really stand out from any other I’ve had.
Of course we had the gelato , it too was outstanding! The staff, atmosphere, and serve was stellar!
Glad we made the choice to dine in. What a great time!
And the calzones? Oh. My. Goodness. These things are massive. I’m talking about a golden, baked-to-perfection bundle of cheesy, meaty goodness that will make you question all other calzones. Trust me, one of these will fill you up, but you’ll still want to go back for more because they’re just that good.
But wait, the dessert. THE TIRAMISU. I’m a dessert lover, and their tiramisu is absolutely divine. It’s creamy, rich, and hits that perfect balance of sweetness and espresso—pure perfection in every bite.
As if the food isn’t enough, the vibe at Mr. G’s is unbeatable. Head upstairs, and you’ll find free pool tables! Yes, you read that right—FREE. It’s such a fun way to hang out with friends while waiting for your food or just to make the night even better.
