My wife and I went for dinner, went to an event that we were going to in downtown Newton then went back for dessert. The staff is so so sweet, and for an opening day the restaurant was running like clockwork. I can’t wait to visit again and again. On our second visit the owner stopped and chatted with us what a sweet couple.

The tacos were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The drinks were incredible too, easily some of the best around. The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in.
I also loved the atmosphere. The music was great and the decorations were beautiful, giving the whole place a fun and authentic vibe.
If you’re looking for great tacos, amazing drinks, and a place with good music and friendly people, this is definitely the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place has been open like 5 days and we’ve been there 3 times. Every single time has been outstanding. Food is incredible, service prompt and friendly, atmosphere fun and upbeat and very clean. Some of the best carnitas I’ve ever had, and I normally don’t like margaritas, but tried my husbands and it was great. By far the most organized and successful opening of a downtown Newton restaurant that we have been to. GREAT JOB TO OWNERS AND STAFF!

Where do I start. They wipe their menus down . I wanted birria but they were out. Ok so I got the carne asada. When I tell you that burrito was so on point. Holy hell. Spoke with one of the owners (wife) and she apologized for the wait, but can I tell you it was worth it. I love the fact that they don’t smother your burrito in cheese, like other Mexican restaurants do, but they give you a cup with hot melted cheese on the side. My husband had the tacos. I’m not a fan of corn tortillas but these were blue corn tortillas and I was not disappointed. I’m a Latina who loves her Latin cuisine and these guys made me very happy. I have already given an excellent verbal review to my family so chances are the next time we choose to eat there, there will be at least 6 of us. Oh and let’s not forget the drinks. I was told that the tamarindo is made fresh. That they sit there peeling the tamarindo. Wish I knew that before but I know for next time. All their drinks, minus the soft drinks, I was told are made in house including the horchata. Excited for the next visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

So glad we finally have a new food place to try in town. Recently visited Chilango’s Tacos for lunch on a weekday. We ordered the Chicken Bowl, Ground Beef Bowl, Steak Quesadilla and Guacamole & Chips. Everything tasted great and my only thing is all of our food cost $48 which was a little more than I would have expected, but also food prices are not the cheapest right now. Overall, great food and great experience!
