This was my first visit to the place, and I found it clean, appealing, and featuring a unique ambience. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
We ordered a sizzling plate, chicken kawap, and lamb kawap. The lamb kawap was tasty and flavourful, but the chicken kawap was quite bland and lacked seasoning. The sizzling plate was enjoyable overall, though a few of the lamb pieces were undercooked.
Overall, it was an average experience for me.

Stumbled across this gem today, down to earth and authentic, not your mainstream food, the food is from the ethnic community Uyghur, fill with heat and soul, it’s reflected in every dish, hand made noodles have amazing texture, mince stuffed pancake is a rare find. Very reasonably priced.

Been here twice with friends and cannot get over how good the food is!!! Best eaten family style, can get a bit heavy (oily) but a side salad fixes it !!! Would really recommend the Lamb skewers, Polo rice and stir fry lamb with naan!

Never having experienced Uyghur cuisine before it was with great anticipation we came here for dinner tonight and I’m delighted to say we were not disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious and different to anything we’ve tried previously.
Our waiter Leo was delightful. He was courteous, friendly and happy to explain the finer points of the menu and guide us with our choices. Any questions were happily dealt with.
The servings were extremely generous and the house-made noodles silky smooth and delicious. In fact, everything we ordered was sensational and the flavours truly divine. We can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing food.
So happy to have discovered this jewel in Malvern’s crown!

We had Pre-NY dinner here last night (Wednesday) in a private room upstairs. Our kids were on the floor with ipads and own snacks in the second private room. This was so convenient!
Rifat, the host and owner, and his staff were very attentive. The food is yummy! They also let us use our own speaker and music. We eventually moved downstairs to dance. Rifat let us stay till 10.30pm.
It’s a simple decor, modest place, but is great for an Uyghur dinner and private functions.

Nur Uyghur Restaurant is a gem! Their lamb skewers are hands-down the best in the area—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The service is top-notch, always friendly and attentive. This is my go-to spot for Uyghur cuisine, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Yummy! Went here with a friend for dinner after passing many times and smelling the delicious food. It did not dissapoint. The dishes were flavoursome and portions were pretty decent. Our favourites were the steamed dumplings and seafood noodle dishes although the fried chicken and potatoes were pretty amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A pleasent night with a a very welcoming vibe. We will be coming back to try more of the food.

had dinner here yesterday. everything tasted fresh and great. we had the spicy and non spicy noodles to compare, the beef and lamb steamed dumplings and the chicken skewers which were grilled really well and had that great smoky taste to it. absolute 5 ⭐ meal. new location in Malvern (they said they opened in Dec 2024), and friendly family staff. walking distance from the station too. absolutely recommend.
