First off food amazing as always.
However, customer service non-existent at times.
We order over the phone at 11:08 and they say your order will be ready in 20-25 min which is understandable as they are a popular deli. My wife shows up and doesn’t walk out of the deli until 11:50. No accountability or like hey really sorry for the delay etc nothing, nada.
The only thing we got was incompetence from who I believe is one of the owners (bald guy and glasses) as my wife is walking out the door he says hey hang on we might’ve packed a platter in your bag.
As they check through the bag they did pack the platter in there and she said yea I don’t know what you put in the bag and his response was like “oh yea sure”. Zero accountability here and they don’t value your time. If an order is gonna take 40 plus minutes let your customers know it’s sooooooo simple.
Our favorite deli 117 deli main st east Islip across from st Mary’s would never treat their customers like this.
After scanning through some of Carleton Ave deli complaints of skimping out on meat for sandwiches go to 117 deli. My breakfast sandwiches or BLT sandwiches are overflowing with bacon. Unfortunately for us they are closed on mondays which is why we use Carleton Ave on mondays

I went in for hot food. It looked promising. So I got two plates. The nice lady serves the plate and then microwaves it. Two plates And two drinks came out to $38. I don’t think microwaved food Should be that expensive.

10/10 would recommend to EVERY one I know. Every time I walk in this deli (or order out) I am treated with such care and kindness. Between the attention to detail when it comes to custom orders, to the absolutely mouth watering food, I cannot say enough good things about this deli. Its so nice to have one place where you can have a different lunch every day if you want to and know that it’s going to be just as good as the last thing you’ve tried. If you’re waiting to order from here, this review is your sign to go and try for yourself!

Ok, it’s good to walk into a place where everyone knows your name. Even better if they know your order before you even say it! This is one of the few old-school delis still around. Hands-on owners and great staff make it a pleasure to give them my money.

The is a great deli with lots of variety and plenty of daily specials. Everything that I have had here has been fresh and delicious. They have the best macaroni, potato salad and Cole slaw around. The line gets long at lunch time and space is tight inside, but they do deliver so that is always an option. The employees are very nice, sociable and friendly. The place is clean and well maintained. Make no mistake, this place is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

They catered a party for my community. We ordered quite a few 6′ subs. Everything was included in the price (salads, condiments and all paper goods). The food was delicious and we will use them again.
