The term Jollof stems from a popular west african rice dish that is cooked in pepper based sauce with traditional herbs and spices and most of all – love. Jollof rice is a staple dish across West Africa and has been a point of debate between several West African countries as to where it originated and which country makes the best jollof. Absolutely amazing food! The jollof rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked — my husband said it’s the best he’s ever had (and we’ve tried a lot!). Attended Jollof and Chill event and what a vibe! Champagne as soon as we walked in, and amazing food and drinks! Saxophonist was playing throughout and the authentic story telling really added to the memorable experience. We waited to see the menu to add to the experience- highly recommend! Food was tasty, and perfect size- we definitely left super full ! We were on the fence about attending, and I’m so glad we decided to go for our date night!
