The customer service I experienced today was top tier. The young lady was patient, didn’t rush to make my sandwich and was kind. The store was extremely clean and organized. I will be frequenting this location more.

Staff not all that friendly – it seems like you are intruding on their free time when you go in for dinner/supper. Food is usually good, although they tend to skimp on the toppings. No sweet tea. Could do a better job of keeping the dinning area clean. It is convenient for those living on south post.

These guys know how to handle the lunch time rush that’s for sure! They were able to get a line of about 10 folks in/out quickly without sacrificing quality. They have a smooth operation going on that made things move pretty quick which is always great when you are hungry. They have some outdoor seating as well which is great for nice Virginia days. It’s a cute spot overall because you don’t feel like you are on an Army base – just like you are walking downtown somewhere next to all the brown stones.

One of the associates had a horrible attitude. The sad part is that being a fellow Hispanic I guess maybe that’s why she gave me attitude either way the next customer which was a white male she was all nice and dandy worst Subway experience!

[Edit 5/2023] Time changes everything. While still busier at lunch, not as much of a wait these days. Like everything, prices have gone thru the roof, the menu has changed and it seems they are more stingy with toppings. It used to be you’d get 6 slices of tomato with a footlong, now it’s four. Same with other toppings and even the sauce. Quantity of base product (meat, tuna, etc) appears to have shrunk so to get what used to be ‘normal’ you can elect to pay even more for an overpriced sub. Tried coming here a few time to make sure this wasn’t a one-time thing. Looks like it’s time to eat elsewhere.
[Initial post 2019]It is Subway. Lots of choices, and consistent quality. This location gets busy at lunchtime (11:15 – 13:00), but even when the line is long it typically moves quickly. Parking curbside can be a challenge, but there are lots across the street and behind the building, too. I probably go here 3-5x per month.

The lead person in charge, perhaps this is a double negative, was in command of the SW. She was attentive, expedited my order and was pleasant and VERY communicative. Has always been a comfortable transaction, with her in place.

Mmm I LOVE mine to be more of a salad submarine lol. The service was amazing and they put everything I asked for.. well, what hasn’t been discontinued by Subway :/ Sadly Rotisserie Chicken is no longer, nor is the garlic oil or light Mayo. Bummer..
It would be great if those things were brought back, but, back to my service. Very respectful and courteous employees, made my order quickly and was delicious 🙂 always great service at this subway
