UPDATE : Just when you thought The Dug Out could not get any better, they remodeled the building, It looks spectacular, it is warm and is friendly. It is everything you would hope a small town Bar & Grill would be. Jr & Molly are awsome active members of the community, and now the remodel they did reflects their warm personalities.

Bartender was rude. She didn’t give us a total or a time to arrive for the order as well. Fries barely cooked. Onion rings overcooked and soggy. Cheese curds okay. Hair under cheese on for sure one of the burgers nothing was consumed after that for that reason. Both customers that ordered were in the service industry and from the service to the food is the reason why I’ll never go back. I know it’s possible to have a bad day but to treat people the way she did was highly unnecessary we were going to eat there but didn’t feel welcome by the Bartender. April 11, 2:00. Consider who you have working for your establishment because I can’t imagine we were the only ones that have been treated that way with how comfortable she was doing it. 0/10 service and the food.

Every time I go into this place, great hospitality, amazing food, different specials all the time. This time I tried the turkey melt with creamy mushroom soup and it was simply amazing! Highly recommend the food! Owners are great people and the bartender is the best in town!

The burger and fries I had were absolutely amazing!!! Our group was huge probably 20 people and they handled it great even with local patrons. Then the owners were a delight they helped us with an awesome adventure they didn’t have to do any of it but they went above and beyond for their customers! Thank you for the great times we will be back!!! (Fair warning)

This beautiful space is tied to my heart for many reasons, the main reason is its owners. These amazing humans created the most “at home” atmosphere that I’ve found since moving here last year. Secondly it has the most beautiful “dive bar” vibe… My favorite kinda bar, and I honestly haven’t felt this kind of blue collar love since I last stepped foot in the “Knight Club” in NE Minneapolis. I absolutely recommend this space, but know the regulars will keep this local bar happily busy… AND I will remove this review if you hipsters ruin my favorite country escape.
