I got the street taco (2 steak and 1 chicken) platter with refried beans and rice. The wait time was less than 15 minutes, food was hot, but I only liked the chicken taco. The sauce was great, they gave me more than enough sour cream on the side which I love but what made it the best was the decor, the atmosphere, and the lime margarita I could only drink two and they were delicious with enough alcohol you could actually taste it.I will be back soon when I can afford other menu items. This is gonna be a great mexican restaurant in time its a new location!! The waitress was really nice!

I was on the east side craving some tacos today so I stopped by El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant Evansville. My normal spot was closed today unfortunately. That being said, I was very impressed with their Tacos and overall ambience. By the way in Los Angeles do you know what we call street tacos? Tacos! Lol.
So I had their Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas. All super flavorful. I really really liked their Carnitas. Even their rice and beans were fantástico. You would be surprised how many Mexican places I’ve been to in Evansville, where their rice and beans were flavorless. I mean how do you mess up rice and beans? Anyways… this is my second time trying them and wow. Impressed. Even their salsa for the chips was thick. I get tired of places serving tomato sauce water. And I didn’t even have to ask for chunky salsa to get it. lol.
As for full service full bar Mexican restaurants this place was really good. They have definitely earned a spot on my top six list of best Mexican restaurants in town. New owners, new management. Also there is a fun bar vibe with all the bar games, pool tables ect. Give them a try!

Hot and fresh service, even just before closing. Everything was delicious! We got the chicken fiesta nachos, al pastor street taco meal, and their new street corn soup. Fantastic! Also, the homemade salsa is so good you’ll want to drink it.

This restaurant has a bar but also a dj booth and pool tables. Walked in and the music was super loud. It was also karaoke night. I ordered the street tacos, which 3 tacos were served with rice and beans. The beans looked like canned refried beans. The tacos were good and the servers were friendly and attentive. It’s a decent mexican restaurant just wasn’t expecting the loud music.

This was already a Mexican restaurant at 1 time but must not have worked out for them. New onwers bought it and kept as a Mexican restaurant. It looks more like a bar. It has a stage with drums and guitars on it and pool tables in the main dining area, which is kind of odd. It was cold, so I didn’t care for that. It was just too chilly for me. The food was okay, wasn’t great but wasn’tbad. It was kind of average. They have a cheese dip, however, with Chorizo in it, my oh my, that was worth the trip itself.

So tonight was the first night I’ve eaten at El Mariachi and I gotta say I wish I’d come sooner. We ordered 2 different fajitas, got a fresh guacamole (Which truly blew me away, easily the best fresh guac in Evansville. Period.) And I had a line margarita and we only paid $42 for the entire meal.
We were told that management of the restaurant has recently changed, and although I don’t know what it used to be like it is awesome now. Flavors were great, service was fast and the price can’t be beat.

Service was good, she was friendly.
Peach margarita on rocks was okay, no sugar rim, just light if any?!
Restaurant was big, spacious even a stage I think. It was clean, inviting.
Ala carte tacos were blandish, meat kinda Old hard like if sitting out or something.. Enchiladas were alright, rice stale.
Would try again at a better hour maybe, we went around 230p.

Sunday night family friendly karaoke is so fun here! My little girl absolutely loves it and everyone claps so nice for her. They have all the classic food people enjoy and have an amazing Tuesday Taco take out special.

This is the new location of Casa Fiesta. It doesn’t seem to have the same crowd and lacks some of the atmosphere or the original location. Food was still a good value as the lunch specials included a beverage. The order was for steak fajitas.
